OMG. I'm always a day late and a dollar short, or at the train station, when I should be at the airport. I missed all the flailing. Not too entitled here, but having a hard time reading the lyrics, even with glasses. Gotta spend a significant amount of time on that. Thank you Happy and DD for sharing this epicness. I cannot wait for my copies. I have to admit i went and ordered the box set on AO, a couple of days ago. I am probably on the late mailing...ah well. But I have 6 posters to look forward to. AlexandraKv. Beautiful post! I am in awe that you can express yourself so powerfully and so poetically in a different language! You international Atoppers inspire me! Adam's THANK YOU notes inspire me as well. Gratitude is one of the best things I've learned and continue to learn from him. I have expressed more genuine appreciation for people and for the things they do in the past few years than I ever did pre-Adam directly because of Adam's example, and it has brought me so many unexpected little joys. You get back what you give away. I sent emails to the parents of students who received A's on their exams yesterday after work. I felt so genuinely proud of these students and just wanted to share that with their parents. What a surprise this morning to find my inbox flooded with many lovely notes in return! Adam's very genuine and somehow personal expression of thanks to his fans, to the people he loves, and to the people with whom he creates floods the inbox of my heart with more lovely feelings and makes me want to do everything I can to help him find creative success and backing. Looks like my wallet will continue to fly open for Adam. That's one way I apparently let my freak flag fly.

NCOE starting to get a lot more spins on NZ radio!!  NZ station ZM are holding a competition to win tickets to this years AI finale and the DJ just said after playing NCOE "Adam Lambert could potentially be there... they bring in the big names... " :D Well he'll be there the week before!! Guess he could be in the audience at the finale like he was last year? A&S Red Carpet Hand Holding FTW!!!! Gotta try and enter to win if there's even a small chance he'll be there..... either way a trip to LA right now would be good!!!  Doesn't this mean NZ Idol? (I do not think Adam would be on American Idol Finale unless he is performing and since he is on the 17th, I'd doubt that.) No its definately American Idol bcoz they mention a trip to LA. Also, there is no NZ Idol at the moment. I don't think they meant much by saying Adam might be there, I think they are just saying Adam might be there as part of the audience or sth. ZM has been great to Adam this time round :-) I've heard NCOE so many times in the past week and it has all been during commute, so at good time slots. BTIKM on the otherhand, didn't get much spin at all other than in the first 3 days or so. |

Well then here is my analysis of the word "sudella". ;D I am pretty sure that Adam knows that the word "sudella" has a double meaning. Sauli has sure explained to Adam at some point meaning of the words. (When Adam has asked what is the word "kiss" in Finnish, and when he tried to pronounce the word "suudella", he said "sudella" (yes I've noticed that Americans have a hard to pronounce the two vowels or two consonants in a row). Then Sauli has explained that the "sudella" (a wolf has) in Finland means different things. Adam loves the double meaning of words and sentences, so I'm pretty sure that he has done this on purpose and he means to suudella (kiss), but likes to confuse us all with this "sudella"! This is the explanation that most resonates with me. Especially considering how much Adam loves kissing-- I can easily imagine that he wanted to learn that word right away. And then of course he mispronounced it and when Sauli told him he'd said a variant on the word wolf instead, Adam probably thought that was absolutely perfect considering the wolf is Adam's spirit animal. In all the flailing yesterday, I couldn't catch up on the whole thread so I don't know if someone posted this comment on a post from Pollo Del Mar's FB? Reggie Cameron heard a "rumor" he may be performing on SF PRIDE mainstage....SF Pride is on June 24th and it would be so awesome if he performed, it's a huge event. It's cutting it pretty close to his first Queen concert so it seems unlikely, but I would die of joy since I will be there. My workplace always has a booth, but this year we're marching also, yay! If he is there, I will be too. |
