OT but I finally figured out how to get my photobucket account usable on my son's computer. Here's what I think of my computer:  Sorry...had to let that out because I am sooooo frustrated with my computer! >:( Back to reading the thread. |

I just got done ordering 20 copies for charities on Amazon hoping it would affect the very visible ranking.  Also bought some cheaper ones for myself on B & N. I really, really hope 1st weeks sales are closer to 100K. FYE sold 198K the first week. I would hope that the first week sales for Trespassing would be more than for FYE. So where did the expectation for 100K come from? |

So where did the expectation for 100K come from? In the numbers thread, someone brought in a post from Pulse with some estimates. No one knows where the numbers came from. Adam's estimate was 100K and Kris's was 40K. I think there is an expected percentage Idol drop on the second album because the first album is mostly Idol fans. For example, David Cook sold over 280,000 on the debut of his first album. His second album only debuted at 46,000. So you can see, there was quite a drop. I remember with FYE, on Amazon it was high up for a while (#2 or something like that). I'm not sure what the highest we've seen for Trespassing, but I'm guessing it is #24. Of course, Amazon is a just a percentage of CDs bought. I think most are still bought in stores. |

Trespassing DELUXE is #45. 60 days in the top 100 on Amazon. And this is just amazing Amazon Best Sellers Adele 21 --- # 2. 492 days in the top 100 I just don't understand who is still buying Adele. Doesn't every person in the world have a copy by now? ;D except me... 8-) ,,,and me, always a rebel... ;D |
