David Cook or Kris do not receive the attention or coverage that Adam gets. Just based on some observations, a rudimentary survey, it looks like if you took 10% of the twitter followers, you can get a good idea of how much will sell in the first week. Gaga has close to 10,000,000, she sold a million the first week. Bruno Mrs couldn't be calculated as he was not an established singer yet. The same with Katy Perry. you can look at Taylor Swift and this would hold true.
All numbers are estimates peeps and this is a rudimentary survey. So please don't provide precise numbers.
Adam, if this survey holds true, will sell 100,000 the first week. These are my thoughts and I'm stickiing to it.

I just don't understand who is still buying Adele. Doesn't every person in the world have a copy by now? ;D except me... 8-) ,,,and me, always a rebel... ;D ... and me...! (I don't like her songs!  ) |

Wanted to say thanks to Happy and her Tech Support for sharing her news and giving us the lyrics and liner notes. It was so exciting to see them.
I had some major oral surgery and have been pretty heavily medicated and when Happy first posted I wasn't coordinated enough to post my thanks. (I wasn't even sure if I was actually seeing them or just imagining them!!!)
I am so looking forward to hearing the entire album next week and then seeing Adam perform live 3 times in a couple of weeks It's been a long wait but it's almost over now.

MyS*&@^#r said a couple of days ago that the reviews from Billboard and Rolling Stone are the ones that count. When will they appear? The big review day will be May 15th -- official release day. Billboard will prob do a review on May 15th (US release day). Entertainment Weekly will be release week -- May 16. The big newspapers NYT, Boston Globe, LA Times etc usually on release day - so May 15th. Rolling Stone varies when they review but for a major release usually on release day. |
