Pretty much..... before really important album releases.... Well, he's only released one album (or two but we know nothing of stories before the first one). My view is that there is equally a helluva lot of positive patterns and huge manifestation in his life - much more than most of us can claim to have done in our lives. Its up to you what you want to focus on in his life, but I leave you with the thought: I don't think it does him any favours. Nope just one album. The two unauthorized albums were not released by him, and the first one Take One was timed right around his own real debut album.

Does everybody here know who every person Adam thanked is? I don't and I wish I did. Who is Allan? Or Jerome? Also, Johanna, Dusty, Amy or Elisse. Hoppers, some glitter for you: Don't know them all; but Amy is Eber's S.O.; Elisse is Neil's girlfriend, Allan worked with AFL in the Zodiac show, and Adam was on stage with him for the "Big Black Man Show" at Burning Man.... As for the others, I'm not sure. The only 'Dusty' I know is Dusty Madrid!! Allan

No need to be on the ledge. When they want Adam on TV, they will get him booked on TV. There are a few shows where I do not expect to see him -- SNL and Colbert are on that list. We'll see what happens but they got him the perfect slot on Idol. And I have faith they will do right by Adam and get him where he needs to be. Regarding Walgreens mini concert -- that is for 103.5FM and a radio promo deal -- and will result in airplay for NCOE. So it is a great thing to do. On MLB Fan Cave -- I assume that he is getting paid for this and that it is paying for the cost to bring the band and crew to NY for the iHeartRadio mini-concert which is a critical radio promo. This is on release day and Z100. Without support form Z100, NCOE is DOA. With Z100 it is a Top 10 hit. I know a lot of people were hoping he'd be on SNL in May. I was not one of them. I think Fall, after his first huge single, would have much more of an impact! It would be perfect to kick off the next single. I would love to see him as host and musical guest at that time. It could happen! I would rather have Z100 put NCOE into Power Rotation than see him on SNL -- just thinking about impact. Adam needs to expand his audience -- and pop radio provides the repeated exposure that is needed for that. Adam needs a hit single right now. Something on the radio -- playing a lot. A TV performance of a song you do not know, by an artist who you do not care about, rarely has any impact. And for most of the SNL audience that would be the case if Adam performed right now. A TV performance of a song people have heard on the radio and like, can convert into sales. That is why the big TV performances almost always trail radio promo. Although sometimes it seems like Adam has millions of fans, sales of the first two singles do not support that. BTIKM was a weak lead single for an album with such good music but it is water under the bridge. NCOE has not had the kind of exposure needed to drive sales. We'll see what happens when the big Clear Channel stations come on board, but I think it has a really good shot of being a hit. I am really pleased that RCA/DMG/Adam is focusing their attention first and foremost on radio, and on recapturing his Idol audience. IMO it is the right promo strategy.

Plus this is a CHR radio station that is now spinning NCEO as one of the earliest adopters. This gig is made of win. On MLB Fan Cave -- I assume that he is getting paid for this and that it is paying for the cost to bring the band and crew to NY for the iHeartRadio mini-concert which is a critical radio promo. It's not like he's playing at Walgreens, that's just a local outlet where you can get M&G tickets. The show itself is a big radio fest called KTUphoria and the venue is the PNC Bank Arts Center amphitheatre.

But why would he be any different than any other major RCA release? Why would they actually preclude him from doing TV when he is the most viable for that medium?
And if we're going to compare the other idols, Cook, Kelly, Daughtry, Carrie all had major TV up and around release day including Idol. What would even be the purpose of having the one who is the most visual and verbal of those artists not on TV? That makes ZERO sense IMO. And I don't think for a minute it's a booking problem.
Sorry, totally disagreeing with this. And excellent live performance is an excellent live performance and Adam is always a compelling performer. Talk shows have obscure bands on every single night singing songs the vast majority of people have never heard. SNL has been booking big acts lately, but they've also had tons of very little-known acts over the years. Hell, who even knew who Lana del Ray Rey was prior to her infamous performance in January?
