Starting the stream on 5.9.12 may be disappointing but that is what most countries are reporting. The only place that indicated that it would be 5.8.12 was Sony Hungry. Japan is 5.9.12 so that is 5.8.12 in the US anyway.
It is a niche radio format. There are 24 Triple A stations monitored by Mediabase in the US.
Adult album alternative (also triple-A, AAA, or adult alternative) is a radio format. A spinoff from the album-oriented rock format, its roots trace to the 1960s and 1970s from the earlier freeform and progressive formats. Source: Wikipedia
The play a wide range of music -- mostly rock related genres and some American/Roots artists.
We'll see what happens but they got him the perfect slot on Idol. And I have faith they will do right by Adam and get him where he needs to be.
Regarding Walgreens mini concert -- that is for 103.5FM and a radio promo deal -- and will result in airplay for NCOE. So it is a great thing to do.
On MLB Fan Cave -- I assume that he is getting paid for this and that it is paying for the cost to bring the band and crew to NY for the iHeartRadio mini-concert which is a critical radio promo. This is on release day and Z100. Without support form Z100, NCOE is DOA. With Z100 it is a Top 10 hit.
LOL why are people calling it the Walgreen's concert? It's not like he's playing at Walgreens, that's just a local outlet where you can get M&G tickets. The show itself is a big radio fest called KTUphoria and the venue is the PNC Bank Arts Center amphitheatre.
I just picked up the reference from someone else's comment to respond. You're right, it really is not a "Walgreens" event. They are just a promo sponsor.
Q3 - what is "Triple A" market?

No need to be on the ledge. When they want Adam on TV, they will get him booked on TV. There are a few shows where I do not expect to see him -- SNL and Colbert are on that list.
