Seeking wisdom from you numbers savvy folks. Does the Trespassing box set containing a CD and a Vinyl LP count as two sales? Seems like it should, since we paid for two things. If we paid for two things not in the same box - like a CD from Barnes & Noble and a download from iTunes - that would be two sales. Though, if it is two sales, what a great way to up to the count, because they knew at least 5K solid fans would buy it. Even if only 4.5K of them actually had turntables. Just wondering if you all might know. Many thanks. Ooooooooooooo, you are so smart! I'll bet it does!!! Had not even thought about that! Hmmm, Adam is smart too!!!!

Well, those remix and acoustic CD's upped all those songs counts, I think. So maybe the box set will, too. Certainly hope so.

Not to focus on Cook but did his song get a bump on iTunes from his Idol performance? Is there any way to tell? Because I don't see it in top 200 for pop.

Am I blind - didn't see it at all! Checking again... ETA: Just checked. Yep - #46 now. But not on Pop at all? How can that be possible? Was his performance good? The song sounds like his others to me. Happy for him but still >:( about NCOE on iTunes.

I think Cook's song was in the rock genre. And I think it was actually at #2 (and maybe got to #1) on iTunes rock last night.
Cooks performance was good---about the best he has done on AI. I like the song, but it is nothing very memorable; maybe has a bit more drive than the stuff on TLM. But, basically, it is pretty standard Cook. I know his fans were putting together a huge buying effort last night.
Any spec on what Adam might do on iTunes next week? Can we hope for a top 15? Or would that be too high? I just hope he blows the roof off the place.

HAC just isn't doing much. I think we are going to have to hope for CHR to come through in the next 3 weeks and get things moving. And, really, CHR is where this song should be.
Please tell me RCA has a plan!
