Forgot to say that in addition to Elton John and Pink, I've also secretly wished for another Brian May/Queen collaboration too. I say "secretly" 'cos so many fans love AFL the Rocker and he's trying hard to get away from rock covers to make his mark in the mainstream Pop and songwriting arenas. (Can't stop myself loving WLL though LOL) As for Adam #2, it will be SO interesting to see who collaborates with him on that. Tidbits via twitter and ninja fan are sure to keep us intrigued over the next few months until it's finally here. Looks like you can vote as often as you wish but they only count it once...I don't know if that is per day or hour or ever.... ??? About Alisan, love Alisan, but do not like her voice when she is wailing, which is what she does on Aftermath. Can not even listen to the ending of the song on the album. Not liking her voice, on the FYE Aftermath has nothing to do with how I feel about her as a person or the admiration I have for her for kicking her addictions. ETA: The duet they did at The Music Box was lovely. No wailing was involved. |

I love Alison's voice,when I heard her in The musical," The Ten Commandments" I was blown away. "Aftermath" is one of my favorite songs on the album,which she helped to write. With that said,Adam will get lots of songs and then will decide which to keep and which won't fit his vision for his new album. So it's all good, The more songs the more choices he has. |

Hope you are right. As much as I liked Allison Iraheta on Idol, I didn't care for her on the tour and I wasn't too thrilled with Orianthi either. Haven't heard Alisan Porter as a lead singer. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens... I TA Murly...I really enjoyed her set at the Music Box and Nokia...she is a much better performer than either Allison or Orieanthi, at the moment, at any rate. Also....if her set was a sample of her writing, she is good. I actually do not really understand all the atop hate she seems to get...she is talented and loves our Adam...and he loves her so ??? JMHO :-/  I don't think anyone hates her. I know I don't. I personally love what a great friendship she and Adam have and how loyal she is to him. I just don't happen to like her voice that much and I thought her background vocal on Aftermath (the album) ruined the song for me.....kinda like that one background singer on Idol that was drowning Adam's voice out. Just personal preferences being expressed on liking, or not, her voice. |
