I keep seeing this and I've really tried hard to scroll past it and not say anything but I just gotta say this negative attitude towards the people who have consistently and loyally supported Adam is really troubling. Alisan is a very talented vocalist and a great songwriter if I can go by the songs on her CD which I purchased back when it first came out. Adam obviously loves working with her and to me HIS personal and creative happiness is what this entire process should be about. We don't have to like everything and everyone that Adam likes. And I don't see anyone talking about not liking Alisan herself. Some of us just don't care for her background vocals on Aftermath. We shouldn't have to pretend we do just because she's a long-time friend of Adam's. ITA. I have nothing against Alisan, but I find her vocals to be too shrieky for my taste. And, I don't think I have to like everything Adam does (cause I don't)!

I'm not the only one who commented either mszue: that said, if people are allowed to voice their opinion about not liking her then I assume, I am allowed to respond to those opinion and voice my own, as long as I'm respectful, which I have been. I didn't even notice Alisan's voice on Aftermath but loved their duet of the song together at the Music Box and I would absolutely love for them to do a duet together on Adam's upcoming album.

Yeah, my DVD package has been send out- I just hope it will arrive until thursday, 24 because I am on holidays for one week after that.
Sorry but the MTV voting is fishy IMO. There is no way Adam is so much behind with all the Glamberts voting. I Just kept voting and Adam lost points while I was on it.
Collaboration - my dream is a remake of "Under Pressure" with Robbie Williams. I would love hearing how their voices match together and for me as someone familiar with all the RW excentricities it would be interesting to see how these strong characters get along. Also it would mean a No 1 hit for Adam in many European countries, NZ, Australia and Asia.
I like Alison and her voice and if Adam is so excited to work with her I am all for it.

avoiding RL for a moment (need to get back into my own studio, but not feeling it...)
I'd love Adam collaborations w/ the following for songwriting and maybe singing:
Sia Janelle Monae (plus she could be a "featuring" rapper) Ceelo Nikki Costa Adele Pink Jesse J
And for top 40 radio play:
Bruno Mars Kesha
Producers (I dunno), but someone said he was following or had some vague connection if I remember rightly with the producer of Madonna's Ray of Light album? That would be awesome!
Also, what about Christina Perri (Jar of Hearts) as a vocal pairing? It's one of the top 40 radio voices that has held up well to repeated listens for me...

Adam's voice is so beautiful, I don't want him sharing vocals with ANYONE on the album. He wants harmony on a track? Add it in his own voice. The only reason I can see for doing a duet with someone is to get the PR attention. Fine, do a special performance with Queen, Elton, Christina, Beyonce, whomever. But the album is Adam's!!!

The problem IMO is that you both used the word hate to describe the feelings that some people have here for Alisan. IMO there is a HUGE difference between dislike a voice and hate. And of course everyone is allowed to voice their opinion but not twist the words and feelings.

In USAtoday someone asked Brian if they thought Adam was losing money from the free vevo releases. I liked his response. Here is a portion. If you know somebody's going to be a flash in the pan, it makes squeezing out every short-term dollar more important. But if you're dealing with somebody you expect to be around for the long haul, you can afford to give away more, because you know you're going to make it up on the back end. In other words, if somebody doesn't buy the DVD now, but they do buy a concert ticket and a T-shirt next year, then Adam's team is still ahead of the game. content.usatoday.com/communities/idolchatter/post/2011/03/vevo-previewing-adam-lambert-glam-nation-live-performances/1

No one is hating on her. I said I am not impressed with her songwriting abilities and others mentioned that they don't like her vocals. That's NOT hating on her. It has nothing to do with liking her or not liking her as a person. Again, I am sure she is a great person and a great friend and I love her for it. But that's a seperate issue.
