wonderstruck The problem IMO is that you both used the word hate to describe the feelings that some people have here for Alisan. IMO there is a HUGE difference between dislike a voice and hate.And of course everyone is allowed to voice their opinion but not twist the words and feelings. The use of the word "hate" to me is used to describe negative comments towards a person, much the way we say that Moser hates Adam. Much the way we say Kris' fan hate Adam. Do we really believe Moser or Kris' fans actually hate Adam or do we use the word hate for their constant negative barbs against Adam? That is what I am referring to when I say Alisan received "hate" here. I don't think anyone hates Alisan as a person or at least I hope they don't since I don't think anyone here knows her personally. Just as hope no one really hates any of the people they say "OMG I hate (fill in the blank)" Now as for who I'd like to hear Adam duet with... Kelly Clarkson. I love her voice and she's consistently brilliant and really does well with collaborations. Thanks Wonderstruck...your words on 'hate' is exactly right...and I apologize for initially using that term as it is not really what I meant at all..... Re the collaborators discussion...which I think is a great and fun one [thanks for getting that ball going chunky]..I really am thinking of writing collaborations more than performance ones.....for the most part. At least when I talk of Williams or Elton John. Prince could be a performance bud and hold his own, glamtastically though...that would be a sight for sore eyes!! Wow....we would need to wear our shades to watch that much glamwonder in one place.....   |

I recently found out that my album won't be coming out until September ....the album has been recorded but I can't release it until then. I realize that is a long time but that's the best time to release it apparently so I'm sorry for the wait but I promise you it sounds great!

I will pass it all on - I'm sure they'll work it out  My mother just starts getting obsessive right before the trip (which is weird since they travel a lot - they only take my kid when he is out of school, but just in the last month or so they've been to London and Alabama - how is that for contrast!) wonderstruck - sadly, I think Moser does actually hate Adam as a person - I don't see how he could be as nasty as he has been otherwise. There are also some (and certainly not all!) KA fans who hate Adam - the ones that troll articles just to post horrid stuff certainly don't like him as an individual! |

avoiding RL for a moment (need to get back into my own studio, but not feeling it...) I'd love Adam collaborations w/ the following for songwriting and maybe singing: Sia Janelle Monae (plus she could be a "featuring" rapper) Ceelo Nikki Costa Adele Pink Jesse J I like all of these suggestions, especially the first two (though I think Pink may be a little too similar vocally--it seems like radio thinks opposites attract). Can't get excited about a Mars or Kesha collab, although I can see how the Mars collab could be a marketing win. Along these lines, though, B.O.B has been collab-gold this past year, so that might be an interesting mix for Adam. Don't think this will be a popular suggestion so I make it somewhat meekly, but I think there could be a totally sexy Rihanna collaboration--something about my imagined appearance of the two of them together, tall and a little androgynous and all long long legs and powerful, spikey shoulder pads, maybe even sporting the same the same androgynous hair do, lol, feels like it would present an new kind of sexy to the pop world, one where sexy is sexy and gender is bendy and masculine and feminine mix, and i think it could be really hot. Plus we know Adam likes her. Finally, of all the acts Adam has introduced me to, I've fallen for the Scissor Sisters the hardest--I love their music--and I think that would be a terrific, if less market-friendly, collaboration. |

The CEO left recently and that could cause them to push album releases back until someone can be in place to run the label and make budget and promotion decisions. |
