Awww I was hoping people would let him know in a kind way.. :( I don't think he's responding to anyone saying something horrible to him today. He's saying he links or replies to bad things about himself as a way to expose them. Sending the link on the EW article is the same thing, exposing the bully. Bullies thrive in darkness, not in light, especially not a spotlight powered by Glambert fire. Oooh I read it as horrible things were being said to him for posting the EW link. Phew! Yep you've got to bring these kind of things out into the light to be exposed for what they are.. awareness brings change.

Guess I'll dodge too. I like the star shirt too and so what anyway - he's wearing a jacket over it. Adam said "eeeeeew" and "haha" about the horrid so-called review, but something like this has to hurt. I hurt for him. I know. But, remember, Adam also knows, I'll bet, how many fans and supporters called foul. And that has to feel good. So I am happy for him. I tweeted Adam that in 3 hours there were 404 comments in the EW review and that about 400 (seriously, there were only a handful that supported the review) were furious and established well their sentiments. I have read all the comments and posted a few myself. Current tally is 513 comments! In under 5 hours.

I'm surprised Nile tweeted this particular heinous review instead of the other ones that are real reviews. :-/ Only my sense, but his following tweets tell much more. Niles said he posts awful things people say about him. He encouraged people to speak on this topic. Who knows what things Niles has been subjected to in terms of racial intolerance? I got that he is encouraging dialogue and action, if one is so moved. Write letters, tweet, be proactive..JMHO as I don't know Niles, but I sure wish I did. I finally got that.. very wise man.

I want to gift several people at work with Trespassing - I was thinking I'd wait until the 15th, then go to Walmart, Target & Bestbuy & buy several copies from each store - thinking then they'll restock! Is this the way to go - help :-/

In his book, he writes a lot about the prejudices he has faced and the struggles he has had in his life, always with sort of a casual honesty that makes the telling all the more real.

I went out and bought 3 remaining FYE Cds that I could find quickly at local store - added to the three I had left from my "Tell a Stranger They Are Beautiful" effort in 2010 and 2011, and am proceeding to give out to some new people this week with the hope they will purchase Trespassing. At least that is my hope and often my experience. I also sent an email to all the friends/family that I gifted or introduced FYE to. I requested that they listen to the stream and buy Trespassing so we can get Adam to #1 next week. My wonderful men friends are texting me like crazy this morning - I sent them a note about Adam's 4 stars on RS and they are amazed! I have other Adam strategies all over the place - I am a plant the seed person and I keep the garden watered, so to speak. All my kids, many of their friends, and my extended family do the same, both for Adam and for @1n10. And everything all of you on Adamtopia ask or suggest we do, I do that too. It always bears repeating, thanks to all of you for the amazing work you do to keep us collectively aware of how to make a difference on behalf of our Adam spirit. Love this!! You rock!!!!

I commented to EW, sent a FB message to EW, tweeted EW, retweeted others, emailed the EW editor and customer service to cancel my subscription (and told them exactly why!). I've had my subscription for so long I can't remember. Never done this before. Just had enough. After the RS 4-stars, this just pissed me off. Damn her. Ok, I'm done. Sigh. >:(

Lynne, could you tell me the name of Nile's book again? More Atopers than myself might like to read it as well. Thanks, bb! ETA: You're offline..I googled it. Niles Rodgers book is 'Le Freak'..am ordering it now!!
