Jumping to the end of the thread to add my outrage about the EW article. >:( If we are past discussing it, please forgive me. I wrote to Glaad (thanks for posting the link earlier). This is what I wrote: I was saddened and disappointed today to read a homophobic review of Adam Lambert's new CD Trespassing on Entertainment Weekly On-line. I do not take issue with a reviewer not liking an album. Melissa Maerz is entitled to her opinion regardless of how uninformed it is. (If you read the comment section, you will quickly see how full of inaccuracies the article is). I do take issue with the rude, homophobic remarks that make assumptions about Adam, the gay community, and what type of music gay artists are supposed to make. The article is demeaning, insulting and mocks Adam Lambert based on who the writer thinks he is. I have a gay son who is an Adam fan but I will not let him see this article as it borders on bullying. Please read the article (see link). Is there anything that can be done? I feel hurt for my son, for Adam, and for all others in the LGBT community who continue to be judged their orientation first (based on narrow minded stereotypes), and their qualities and characters second, if at all. www.ew.com/ew/article/0,,20594232,00.html Thank you in advance for reviewing my comment. I feel a little better now for having vented. :-/

I'm still trying to cath up on the thread and get used to this new computer! To the idiotic EW music reviewer I'll use the same gif I always use for people like this: If she doesn't like the music....well she has that right. But to use such blatant homophic language toward Adam and the gay community is rude and totally unprofessional. She's suppose to review the MUSIC...that is what she was hired to do. EW now has a person who is suppose to be a music critic that has just proven to have no credibility. I canceled my subscription right after they began to be so disrespectfull toward Adam years ago. I definitely made the correct decision! >:(

At least we're doing something....I refuse to let people get away with this kind of crap. Nothing will change for the better if we turn a blind eye.)
