The minute someone starts in with that coy, "I know stuff but I'm not telling," I call bullshit. We know Adam goes out. We see the pictures. We also know that when he gets wild, the press reports on it. This jerk knows nothing. He's just trying to make a name for himself by fueling speculation. "Ooooh, what could he mean?" Screw him seven ways from Sunday. He's attempting to hitch a ride on Adam's coattails without risking a lawsuit for libel.Read more: atop.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=daily&action=display&thread=877&page=53#ixzz1uRC4UuAEEXACTLY !!! He is loving the attention PI I Dm-ed you. Adam himself has told us that he is hedonistic, gluttonous, and wouldn't mind seeing an orgy in the corner. :-) I don't think anything this writer would divulge would be a surprise to any of us. Adam is a passionate, sexual, creative, alive creature who enjoys the hell out of life. The "don't give a fuck" part of his personality is the one that resonates the most with me. I strive to be like him - to be confident enough, free enough, brave enough to say "I don't give a fuck" and do whatever the hell I want. So what if he's a club kid who has skeletons in the closet? So what if he's not a saint? In fact, I LOVE that he is that person. So Bring it On, writer dude!

Lots of thoughts about the EW "review." 2. The wonderful thing about it is that hundreds, maybe thousands of people are saying, "No, we can't. We won't. It is NOT funny. It is hateful. We will not stand back and smile (grimace) and pretend that we enjoy your 'cleverness."; Isn't that remarkable? Because of our love and respect for Adam, our eyes and minds are open as never before. And we, who at one time protested inequality and marched for civil rights, but have since "settled down"; and become perhaps more complacent, grasp our power again, and rise up to call them out. ...Because we know Adam, it has now become personal to us, and we are moved. That is fantastic! Yes to this!

Lol, this was the first thing that I noticed when I heard the full versions, and not going to lie, it literally pissed me off. And I started gravitating more towards the songs that had bridges. Naked Love, which was my first love, went drastically down after the non-existent bridge. Don't hate on me, but this is my only complaint with the album. The non words, or only two-three words bridges, makes the songs a little less appealing to me for some of the songs. I just keep thinking how better Cuckoo, Trespassing, NCOE and Naked Love could be if the bridges were worked in better. But for Broken English and Chokehold, the limp bridge works, but for the faster songs, not so much. Adam's fortunate though, that the songs and the album as a whole is so good and strong, so he can get by with having this "flaw" Alright...come throw stones at me.... I am starting to count myself lucky that I am NOT a musician, because I never noticed any of what you are mentioning Wow, joky and marie - you guys are me. I'm loving the whole album, but then I start thinking, WTF, why does Adam have against the middle 8? I'm not against his wailing bridge thing when it fits, but at times, it seems like the song is going along, super fantastic, and then hmm hmm lalallal no lyrics nothing to say no more story lalalaa and then I get a little deflated. So maybe that's just my personal preference, but the bridge is where the story of the song can shift. Who knows what happened, but heck, Bruno Mars writes top hits, and even HE didn't have a bridge on NCOE. You know who I think writes terrific bridges (better than her verses sometimes?) Ke$ha. Call me nuts. This is just a really minor critique I feel; otherwise, the production, sound, the weirdly super low but awesome Runnin' (my first listen I was like WUT), still lovin' Shady and Kickin In the best, but liking most everything. Nice RS review and interview. I thought Adam was saying it's kind of retail in the most fucked up way to have to go to radio stations AND MEET FANS, meaning, in order to sell records. Not that he was complaining about fans directly at all, just that it was parallel to the makeup experience. Uh, I feel like the reaction to the EW review is an overreaction, but hey, everyone's entitled to an opinion. My main objection to that piece is an inherent bias going into it, i.e. Idol stigma. She concedes that two of the songs are awesome and then gives credits to the producers though they are Adam co-writes. That to me means she already intended, before listening, not to give him credit. Finally Adam's going to get the credit he deserves for being an artist by virtue of this album, so in the long run, that EW review is not going to matter.
