Not ignoring you BB but I didn't save the links and not sure where they are posted....try going back to the start of the outrage. Thanks. I finally found it and posted a comment. It's now 640 comments - mostly against article. Don't think it's going to stop anytime soon.

OT Alright taking a break from listening to Trespassing. Just to all encompassing, I can't do anything else while listening, lol. Listening to Chopin now, and this amazes how much I'm not too fond of his work, but the Etude no. 3 in E major, Opus 10. Has to be my favorite musical composition ever. It's just so dreamy and pretty. And is generally what got me to want to take up lessons and to get so involved in music. Beautiful ! I feel like that about Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata

We are so damned lucky in Canada that the "gay marriage issue" is not an issue. If I lived in DC, I think I'd buy one of these T-shirts and go stand in front of the White House. He really is a cool president. this really makes me smile!

Okay, I had to go and comment on the article. If only to make myself feel a little better. I wrote:
I want to add my voice to t hose who found this "review" offensive. I was not aware that there was "gay music" and "straight music." Is all dance club music "gay?" If I dance to it, will I become gay? Or is it an indication that I actually AM gay? (My husband will be so surprised.) Is all rock music "straight"? Or is it only rock guitar that is straight?
cassie Thu 5/10/12 12:25 AM continuing.. I am from the dairy state. Does that mean I must only listen/create country music and polkas? If my iPod is full of jazz and celtic music, am I catering to black Irishmen? What type of make-up is acceptable for me? And how much emotion am I allowed to feel when I listen to or sing music, based on my sexual preferences? The fact that EW thinks this type of "review" is appropriate and clever disturbs me.

Finally caught up. It was such fun reading everyone's reaction to Trespassing and the wonderful reviews over the past couple of days. Then, tonight I read the EW review and felt all the blood rush to my head and I wanted to scream. I was livid. I then went and read every comment posted at EW and here in response and felt much better. I'm glad that I'm part of a fan group that clearly understands how horrible that review was. Then I had a feeling that the review was posted intentionally to get hits to the site because I can't imagine how an editor was let such a review be published. Trash. On different note, I was glad to see some of you are starting to appreciate Take Back. I love this song and play it repeatedly because, IMO, I think Adam shows us more of himself in this song than all of the others. He's telling us everything about this lost relationship, the highs and the lows, the regrets. There is so much sadness in this song. This one truly breaks my heart. I Love Take Back! I think the bonus tracks are as good as, or better, than some on regular ones - but I Like all of them!

Is it just me, or does OOL remind anyone of Swan Lake? At least the verses?

I feel like that about Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata Funny, I like Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, but I can't play that for nothing. I like Beethoven's Pathetique II and Fur Elise much better. But Mozart is my favorite. I may be wrong, but I just find his work so much fun and interesting and he tends to be the composer whose work I always go to when I was doing recitals, etc., And I can't play this anymore, and no way near quite as good as this, lol, but this happens to be one of my favorites
