Color me unimpressed with Kris Allen's tweet. That tweet came from many tweets of people telling Kris they hope he remembers to tweet Adam since Adam is always supportive of him. Not to mention the timing is suspect. All of a sudden Allen gets supportive a week before his own CD drops and he sees Adam is #1 in iTunes. Never heard a peep from Allen in support of Adam's singles though. All of a sudden the support comes a week before his CD drop. Hmmm.. Poor Kris. Guy can't win either way! Haha I know right?

Just like Obama coming out for gay marriage, some believe him, some thinks it's politics. Probably a little bit of both, but still nice he did it. I always find that giving people the benefit of the doubt makes everyone happy. #pollyanna? Obama risked a great deal to make the kind of statement he made during this time in the US. He had everything to lose and nothing to gain. I'm confused as to why this man's brave statement is being compared in any way to a tweet by some Idolette about another Idol's album! Sorry, but the two situations don't belong in the same universe- IMO. In this situation, Kris had nothing to lose and everything to gain. I'm happy that Adam is finally seeing some support from someone he has supported for so long, but it's in no way comparable to the brave statement our President made a week ago during an election year! I agree with the comparison of Kris to Obama makes not sense. JMHO is I think Kris was sincere with his tweet but none of us are mindreaders or can see into his heart.
THAT SAID, CAN WE PLEASE LEAVE KRIS OUT OF THIS GREAT DAY. He tweeted,. Check it off the list and move on.ETA: Hoppers beat me!! I owe you a coke!!

blogs.villagevoice.com/music/2012/05/adam_lambert_interview_trespassing.phpQ&A: Adam Lambert On Trespassing, Stankface, Tracking Nile Rodgers On Twitter, And Being An Out Pop Star In 2012When Adam Lambert was on American Idol in 2009, he grabbed viewers' attention with his octave-leaping voice and startling reworkings of talent-show standbys—while he came in second that season, he was certainly that year's most rock-star-like contestant, and he made even more headlines when he came out of the closet on the cover of Rolling Stone shortly after the Idol season wrapped. Today he releases Trespassing (RCA), his second post-Idol album, and its confidence and catchiness should further establish him as one of today's premier male pop stars. Trespassing, which counts among its collaborators Pharrell, Sam Sparro, Chic's Nile Rogers, and Dr. Luke, struts; it brims with grooves and is led by Lambert's overwhelming charisma, and it could very well be the first No. 1 album by an out pop star, as Chris Molanphy noted last week. This is a FABULOUS, very musically technical interview with quite a bit of stuff I hadn't heard before. You peeps are gonna love it.
