WOOHOO!!!My Walmart has Trespassing Deluxe and Regular side-by-side in the New Release section - top rack. They look so pretty. 8-) I didn't see any at my Walmart this morning, I asked the worker there, and he said he didn't know. :-[
Just got back from my Walmart (we don't have a Target or Best Buy) and they had 12 regular copies and only 4 deluxes. I only bought one deluxe and left the other 3 for others. Of course, I rearranged the display a bit. Actually, kudos to Walmart as it was displayed at eye level on two aisle ends, with about 6 in the L slot.

ETA: Hits radio stations do not really care that much about album sales, they care about hit singles. Sending PDs image of a #1 album with no hit single will do nothing but perpetuate the belief that Adam is an album artist -- an Adult Pop/Alt Pop artist. My suggestion is to request like a listener -- that is what stations want. Leave the rest of radio to RCA and Adam. Whatever else -- do not act like a "fan". Radio stations discount what fans say (particularly Idol fans) and, if fans do stuff like send PDs proof they think the PDs are idiots, it will backfire. Totally agree with the above - BUT please tell me people weren't actually sending twitpics to PD's of the CD charting on iTunes. Please tell me they weren't ??? Also, before people get ahead of themselves just because it's charting on iTunes has no bearing on it being a BB #1 or #2 or #3 for that matter. Idols top 3 hits was #1 for for a few days but I highly doubt it will be a BB #1. It's a combination of all sales and Adam hasn't charted that high on Amazon. Adele and Norah Jones have. Just trying to not let people get ahead of themselves and start spreading proclamations of grandiose charting across the Internet only to be later ridiculed :-[

I know iTunes isn't a huge number of units for albums (brick and mortar still wins) but topping iTunes is the first piece of the puzzle. To even have a shot at a #1 position, Adam had to go #1 on iTunes. So he is off to a great start, and it is a good first indicater.
And he still has AI!
Adam is getting great buzz right now, but just imagine the buzz a #1 on BB would bring. It will be tough, but I am hanging on to hope.

blogs.villagevoice.com/music/2012/05/adam_lambert_interview_trespassing.phpQ&A: Adam Lambert On Trespassing, Stankface, Tracking Nile Rodgers On Twitter, And Being An Out Pop Star In 2012When Adam Lambert was on American Idol in 2009, he grabbed viewers' attention with his octave-leaping voice and startling reworkings of talent-show standbys—while he came in second that season, he was certainly that year's most rock-star-like contestant, and he made even more headlines when he came out of the closet on the cover of Rolling Stone shortly after the Idol season wrapped. Today he releases Trespassing (RCA), his second post-Idol album, and its confidence and catchiness should further establish him as one of today's premier male pop stars. Trespassing, which counts among its collaborators Pharrell, Sam Sparro, Chic's Nile Rogers, and Dr. Luke, struts; it brims with grooves and is led by Lambert's overwhelming charisma, and it could very well be the first No. 1 album by an out pop star, as Chris Molanphy noted last week. This is a FABULOUS, very musically technical interview with quite a bit of stuff I hadn't heard before. You peeps are gonna love it. OMFG. WHAT AN INTERVIEW!!! ~Burning Man Epiphany, AGAIN!!! Hopefully it will turn out as fructuous as the previous one. BM REVISITED, lol! Don't miss it ever again, Adam!!! Prince shifted his perception:)))) ~ And our art car went from rocking to dubstep to immediately smiling and getting down with each other and touching each other. It just hit me in the head and I was like, "That's the type of record I want." It's instant. It's classic. It's old, it's young. It's black, it's white. Gay, straight. I was captivated by it.MUSIC: ~ I want some visuals and things, but I want to feel very much of the Funkadelic/Jimi Hendrix, psychedelic, funk, futuracious. Keep it kind of new, and clean, and fresh, and [have] it really be about the music. ~What I'm really excited about this album doing is that I hope it gives me a way to be credible within the public eye. Because I think sometimes I'm a punchline. And I can take it. I'm not feeling sorry for myself. I can laugh at myself too. And some of the things I do are fucking ridiculous. I know that. But it will be exciting to be a little bit like, "Well, have you heard the song?" [Laughs.] With a smile, you know?

You make a very good set of points (which I personally agree with), but we're not going to discuss this topic on this particular thread today.
Keep'n it glittery. We can discuss this another day.
