I don't think anyone should look a #1 in the mouth no matter what the "numbers" are that get him there. It will be the FIRST time an openly gay artist has topped the album charts. It will be historic and ground-breaking and I don't give a flying f#@k what the number of sales is that gets him there or what Brain dead Mansfield has to say about it.

Is there a possibility that Donna SOmmer could take the #1 spot. ???? She's moving up on Amazon and iTunes fast.
I know Whitney sold a boat load of albums and still selling but 75,000 for Adam still seems low to me.

People need to get some perspective. We're Adam fans, but these numbers are good. Especially so, since he doesn't have a hit single on the radio, and most of his promo consisted of word of mouth, and mainly gay media over mainstream media. And that's just how it's going to have to sell till get a hit single on the charts, so that this album can have some legs...
I just hope that us Adam fans don't start raging on the numbers. We already know that nonfans are going to try and find a way to diminish the numbers, when in fact these numbers are good, all things considered...
I just hope that we can rejoice in this, and enjoy, instead of cry about what is...

Who cares about what some idiot country music fan/Gokey stan/Idol blogger writes about! All that shit is in the Idol bubble! Adam is so much bigger than that now! Adam is #1- what is there to complain about?

Yay, got my Deluxe CD from Walmart, with the special booklet, and it looks like an original signature to me ... a little different from others that have been posted. Karen, how would I know it came from Walmart? Is the booklet in addition to CD? I received several, but I don't know how to identify the Walmart one. tx

ManyPeople download without paying. He's doing GREAT,his music is being heard,he has gotten fantastic reviews ,he may be at the top of the Billboard charts. He will be able to tour ,where he will actually make money.. and he has two to three years to sell this album.. all is well.Adam is world famous and I'm thrilled for him.

Agreed. If Adam is #1 next week, I will run down the street screaming and ripping my shirt off like Mia Hamm (in my heart). Moping about the numbers would be like moping because you won the World Cup or the Super Bowl by one point instead of a blowout.
