Maybe if you have not experienced what it is like to live in a foreign country all alone you can't feel any empathy. We all project our own experiences and I know that the amount of feelings we involve in our thinking is different. But he did make a huge leap leaving everything behind to be with his love, that cannot be denied. It must have been hard for quite a long time. No "posh life" can change that feeling. For sure things are different now than a year ago, Sauli is more established now and has found some friends. I agree that the few weeks they have been apart at a time should not be a big deal. However, they have great challenges ahead when Adam is away from home for much longer periods. I just hope that they make the right decisions for them and that they have the choice to be together enough. Long distance relationships are not easy at all - for both of them. I am more in the camp irish but not worrying too much at the moment. Just waiting for the summer to see how they are going to arrange things - and hoping for the best. I've moved twice to states where I had no friends, no family and no connections. It's not that different than a foreign country and the first time was when I was married to someone in the Army and he was out in the field for 30 days at a time. I made friends. I found a job. I figured it out because I was a smart, capable and resourceful person. Just as Sauli is. I guess maybe I just don't spend much time worrying about Adam and Sauli's relationship however, when I do think about it I think how lucky they are to have found each other and how lucky Sauli is that someone as amazing as Adam loves him.

Dancers would be amazeballs!! irish, I just think it was making Sauli sound like he's suffering that struck a nerve (it did with me anyway). Well, one thing I will say about loving someone whose career creates major separations... It reminds you that your happiness should never be dependent on someone else. You make your own life good and fulfilling, and then whatever your partner brings into it is icing on the cake. Adam is some pretty good icing. Also, every time you re-unite,it is like a honeymoon. There are some good things that come if you choose to look for them. Yes, there are challenges, but that is true in every relationship. I am glad for Adam that he is in love with Sauli, who seems like a great person. I enjoy seeing their present happiness and I appreciate their visibility as a couple, okay, and their beauty. I don't really go beyond that. What will be will be. ITA. Very well said. I'll lay you down lay you down... Nirvana is one of my favorite tracks! Love it.

Not sure if this was already posted: TAKING OVER THE UNIVERSE Album Review - Adam Lambert "Trespassing"How could I ignore such an amazing pop album? I may not be too into the mainstream pop scene, but I have an incredible soft spot for Adam Lambert. Despite my general apathy for American Idol, Lambert is one of the few that have really broke away from that stigma and managed to make interesting music. His newest masterpiece, "Trespassing" is an interesting excursion through the past, present, and future of pop music. Read More
