Isn't Amazon a big album retailer? No? I recently read an article in Billboard magazine, and Amazon makes up approximately 5% of final music sales. Compared to iTunes which at the time comprised approximately 38% of music sales.

I wish I still had the article, so I could post the actual top 10, but Walmart was not one of them. Target was #3 at 7%. That is about all I remember though.

Is SoundScan's cutoff time midnight on Sunday or earlier? I'm raising this question because of the Billboard's Award Show. I believe Carrie may be performing and she could mess things up by getting a bump in her sales? I'm hoping the cutoff time is before the show.

It's 6am and I'm still awake ... for other insomniacs out there ... have you seen this? Adam musings: adamtopia.com/index.cgi?board=inspired&action=display&thread=61 sooo interesting, very nice thoughts on Adam and why and what and anyhow .... Atopia is a VERY intersting place, j/s ETA: I was looking for a different word for interesting: intriguing is what I found with the help of leo.org yep, that will do sums up Adam nicely Intriguing is indeed a good word -- other favorites are "fascinating" or "enthralling". Perhaps even "compelling" but in a good way, like you can't take your eyes off him.
