That's sad for Haley and Kris. Any idea what to expect for Adam? Maybe around 30K? Someone on MJ's did a study on 2nd week drop on non-holiday weeks and estimated the normal drop is 60-70%. If that is correct for Trespassing, we might expect between 23K-31K next week. Anything above 30K will be terrific!

iTunes positions from today all times Eastern. Interesting to note the Deluxe version of the album was relatively stable today but the standard version climbed 20 spots. Although the Amazon figures I recorded were all the same it had dropped a little when I checked around 5 pm but I didn't record that one since I've usually been doing the 7 pm numbers. I'm sure that the video release Friday will bring NCOE back up and hopefully radio will kick in to help keep it there.

Checkout the industry site ad on pg8 of today's News, posted by gelly. It says Boston Kiis and Q102 were early adders of NCOE! Is RCA mixed up or were those 2 supposed to add last week? I was surprised neither one was an auto add because they both had enough spins. Next adds day should be interesting. (I can't bring that post over because I am on my phone)

okay guys....since this is a numbers question and I don't seem to be getting an answer up in the news thread, I'll repeat myself down here! Don't mean to sound like a broken record, but I'm still wondering why we saw no increase in units sold after the final HDD building chart.
At the time people were saying that HDD accounts for "85%" of soundscan reporters and DOESN'T include Amazon.....The final tally leads me to believe that's not the case, in fact the number went down several hundred units.
Still thrilled with his sales....I'd just like to know the answer to the Amazon part of the equation for future reference.

I thought that although Amazon doesn't report to HDD they have some formula by which they estimate sales there and thus these sales are included in HDD estimate..(Not sure where I read this though !)

durberville, I'm no numbers expert, but I do think HDD includes their own estimate for Amazon. I admit I am pretty surprised that the final total didn't move up since HDD often seems to underestimate. All I can think of is that Adam must have REALLY sold big early in the week.
eta---SO glad that Trespassing has moved up on iTunes, and I really wish it could sneak back into the top ten. As awesome as that #1 BB position is, it will be sad if the bottom drops out this week.

Pretty sure that Sounscan reports the actual #s on Friday. But I could be hallucinating too!
