Am I the only one who really does not like Kickin' In and Shady live?

I just popped into say that I am still mystified about NCOE and radio. I never expected it to do worse than BTIKM. When all other things point to Adam being reasonably popular like video views, press mention, Twitter followers etc. I don't understand why radio refuses to get on board. It has a big label support. The only thing I can think is that the conservative powers that be on corporate radio don't want to support him because he is a gay lefty. I will still request but with a heavy heart.
I am pinning all my current hope on his international release and promo as US radio seems hopeless.

WHAT??? OK what is SNL? Like an OHP type of syndicated thing?

Who was that person? OMG. That in itself is so depressing. And sadly not even totally true. Tweetstalking shows a TON of new young fans. Nobody knows if they request though.

But I will say, I believe there's alot of lip service with fans claiming to be so devoted who really are just hobbyists. There are large contingents of them who do nothing more than flail, visit media download blogs, mock other fans, and communicate with each other about peen, pants, hair, banter, etc. A social club.

Then there's "It's my money, I'll spend it how I want" and if I show up on national TV with a GIANT ASS "'SWARM' LOVES YOU ADAM" poster plastered on the glass behind the boy during his morning show concert on GMA tough crap even if I AM 55 years old.

And I also think Adam's demographic (not including hard core Glamberts) are not the radio request types.

Compared to the Beibs demo. He's getting new Beibs fan types but they have no motivation to request him IF there's no "contest" on the radio site and Justin has 4 sections of promo on their home page.

I'm not picturing San Fran fans from yesterday hanging out on radio websites or requesting, call me crazy.

The ONLY thing right now, in my opinion, that is going to get Adam "re-entry" radio play is blasting the stations with ALOT of different new people and doing an end around USA in Europe and hope he catches fire here after the fact, when he cannot be denied.

Of course, I thought that after BTIKM peaked too early, too, but the "don't worry be happy" narrative precludes any rational discussion otherwise. Then there's the opposite: "Well of course not, there will never be another Idol successful after their sophomore album since Carrie".

If it makes you feel any better I despise radio people with every ounce of my being. Smart asses, disingenuous, homophobic, outright liars, rude, low class, and not even intelligent. Just this weekend I heard our Top 40 station guy say "Oh wow we were so surprised to hear Beiber idolizes Usher". Really bitch? Everybody knows Beibs is PARTNERS with freaking Usher, isn't this YOUR business?

Now we have the new Flo Rida song about blow jobs. REALLY???????

Over it. Adam, think of something new, we're pretty much tapped out here LOL.

Without a HUGE thing like Queen meaning a Sat Night Live appearance, I have no idea.

There is NO DOUBT in my mind that Adam knows the precise stats of his sales and radio charts. All day every day. He may chose to take time away, but the information is there. His entire life could depend on it.

Elsewhere I read "fans expectations were hyped and it's time to face reality" (paraphrasing). That's a new way of thinking for me, I never saw that and what I saw over and over and over was give it 5 months and everything will be just great.

Forget the chords. Maybe your music knowledge prevents you from fully enjoying the awesomeness of live performances?
