I guess my question is still does RCA get anything out of these Queenbert concerts? And do we know for sure that it was RCA that wanted to delay the release of Trespassing or maybe partly the Executive Producer? Probably not but American Idol machine might! Scoundrels get a cut of his income for a LOOOOONNNGGG time, I forget the details though. It's like a finder's fee. Someone from MJs may remember this non sequitur lol. IDK re $s but there MUST BE a promotional benefit in Q collab! Yes, it is not for 12 year old girls - the demo that everyone is after (WHY???? What kind of buying power do they have? what advertisers are interested in little girls???) There is press re Queen. They mostly mention #1 album - and thank god it is #1! Kudo's to RCA for picking the RIGHT week. B&R are not shy about promoting Adam as well. As you know - I pretty much hate both singles, just because they totally and utterly MISREPRESENT Adam - IMO. From that POV - ANOTHER SINGLE IS NEEDED! One that has his spirit, his mark, his magic. RCA sell out to the fucking US radio via Bruno is appalling...and now we all got screwed... Adam said in several interviews that THERE WILL BE MORE SINGLES! ALL other songs on the album are great! ADAM WILL WIN!!!!

I don't know what "Plan B" might be, but I doubt it involves releasing a third single in the US. Radio is not playing along, so why put Adam in this position? It starts to do more harm than good. What I do see them doing is abandoning the US and hitting things hard internationally. The may make the most sense right now. Or, maybe they work the dance chart/club scene? I honestly don't know.
Just to add, I do see them releasing more singles internationally, especially if Adam is working the promo.

I'm feeling confident about here in the UK. The exposure has been amazing, when my own grandparents tell me "oh hey Adam Lambert stuff in the paper" or non-Adam fans tell me "oh hey I saw Adam Lambert on Graham Norton, he's really good live" then I know it's working! Getting good airplay too, pre-orders for NCOE and TP are strong. I can't see it not cracking the top 40, and maybe the Radio 1 DJs will take notice and be more into it than they were FYE. Can only hope but I'm feeling positive ;D On Wednesday is the midweek chart show so we'll know roughly what to expect on next Sunday. All digits crossed! :D Did you see the latest UK Radio Airplay Chart? www.ukairplaychart.com/uk/rolling_week/ Down 22 spots from last week (#72 - #94). This chart is based on AI I believe. Are you still optimistic? Someone mentioned RCA is busy with KP and yes WOW they sure are! But aren't they big enough to promo more than one artist at a time? Oh wait - they're on CB now too. rca is not a charity. kp and cb outsell Adam so take precedence. If the UK doesn't work out, there is no next step as a pop star, as pop stars are expected to sell singles and albums. Adam can go on a Trespassing tour asap, using the same size venues as gnt, but that won't help his sales. He was vulnerable all along, because he is gay, because he is idol, because of his "roll your eyes when you hear his name" rep. He waited too long to release an album, and rca wrecked btikm. It all comes down to a couple of years of bad decision making on everyone's part, and no amount of talent will change it.

IMHO ADAM WILL BE FINE..He will promote the hell out of HIS album..There is no way Trespassing will get away from him.He said there will be another single and I believe that to be true. This time hopefully it will be one of his amazing songs.I have never seen a star who has worked harder than our guy and this album is his baby.. No worries here.

No worries here. I agree that he will be fine. He will always have a career, though not necessarily a career as a pop star. He can't promote his album without singles, and US radio is not playing the singles. Quality has nothing to do with it. If radio did not play ncoe which probably got label support, they sure as hell won't play Cuckoo or Trespassing which will probably be tossed in without label support. Trespassing era in the US died upon the album's appearance without a lead single; I could have told you the fate of Trespassing and all of its singles back in the middle of January, or back in October 2010, when rca refused to release SW as a single. It's been nearly six weeks and the album has sold under 150,000. Singles are neither getting played nor selling. Hard work has nothing to do with it. If you want to sell, then don't wait two years between albums, and don't release btikm the way you did. You may believe that you are a celebrity, but being a b- level celebrity, which Adam is, will not sell a thing. Adam's present incarnation as a pop star is in jeopardy. He could have a collaboration with a bigger name, land a role on Bway, tv or films. He can't be a pop star without sales. He needs the UK. Without the UK, he will need to take a detour, then return to pop.

Just heard him sing Who Wants to Live Forever from Poland.. i'm not worried about POP. Adam has the best voice of this generation,at least in my humble opinion..I haven't stopped crying from the beauty of his voice just a few minutes ago. There will be no stopping him.. pop or no pop,he's here to stay.

Yes dear. Someone got to #3 on the iTunes chart earlier this week with no plays or promo at all, so with the promo and play and pre-orders Adam's been having this time which are much better than last time, I don't see how he can't make at least some impact

HE WILL WIN! everything else is our angst and conclusion making based on previous experiences. NONE of them apply in this case. He just made a few $s as a side job... he can live...he can write... he can sing... he is a CULTURAL REFERENCE! He is one of the most important figures in the LGBT movement today. If he has to move out of this country - so be it. We obviously do not deserve him, and we will be left with the pop drek on the radio.
