Ready for more angst? I just saw tweets saying Ryan was asked by ML on Today show about posssible Idol judges & he threw out Brad Paisley & Pink. No Adam. I have no idea if this means anything at all. ??? Pink said she wasn't into Idol and dissed them AND Adam so LOL if she takes the gig. I don't see her with Mariah OR the audience, tho. American Idol's Adam Lambert went nuts when you sang "Bohemian Rhapsody" at your L.A. show. Are you a fan?
I've never been into American Idol. I'd love a show where people can get up onstage and do their own stuff. Read more at Women's Health: www.womenshealthmag.com/life/singer-pink?page=3#ixzz21jrnz4k3

I agree that radio is very serious.
In my view Adam has been in obscurity his whole life EXCEPT the year after Idol and only lately peeked out behind the curtain that was dropped the past year, for the most part - in mainstream worlds.
I know a Clear Channel exec and even HE looked at me funny when I mentioned Adam Lambert, like he had to take a minute and wait for me to remind him who he even is.

However, Pink has said she's going on the road and not interested in being a judge on Idol.

And the poncho was a very sentimental gift from his "drag mother" and that's why he wore it to RPDR. He SAID SO. It was a homage. But his "fans" chose to ignore that interview. (not saying the term "pool cover" wasn't funny, but let's recognize some basic facts - he wasn't wearing it as a fucking fashion statement). I guess you've missed Adam's interviews where he talks about how he looks back on some things he's worn and thought "what the fuck"....the poncho being one of them. and how do you know his friends and family don't privately tell him he looks ridiculous? I have no doubt that if these fans had his phone number or email they'd tell him privately but since they don't they are left to discuss it with other fans, often in a funny not mean spirited way. What kind of question is that exactly? Do you think Adam only needs fans who are members of the LGBT community or who have family members who are gay? The civil rights movement of the 60s wasn't won solely by african americans...whites marched and died and fought right along side them so you should be thankful for the straight people who care about this cause even if it doesn't directly impact them or someone they love.

That doesn't mean she didn't AVOID the question "are you a fan [of ADAM}"... when she was profiting at that very time from WWFM charting high. And turned the question about Adam into a statement that she was NOT A FAN OF IDOL. Obviously mileage must vary on the definition of "diss".

No I didn't miss those interviews. What else do you expect him to say? "Jesus Christ now that I know my fans especially overreact to my clothing choices I've pretty much figured it out that I was clueless that they would be so rigid in their demands"? Or did YOU miss when he broke the harem pants that were all over the runway in REAL LIFE, his "fans' just had a blast with more ad hominums just like INSISTING the Dragon Attack coat be labeled ELMO and refusing to drop the meme. Sorry, I'm not into mocking of ANY KIND. Even if the target mocks HIMSELF. I don't believe writing things on a public message board is "private" like a conversation in a living room among family is. My question is for everyone here so insistent on the right to DEFINE HOMOPHOBIA, how many of you are actually LGBT or live with LGBT people? How you extrapolate that to mean you have to be gay to be a fan of Adam is beyond me, since 99% of my post had nothing to do with him and everything to do with the difference between KNOWING about a certain way of life and THINKING you do. My "opinions" are BELIEFS and no matter how many times somebody wants to come for me it makes no difference to me at all. I could no more change my BELIEFS about homophobia and gender equality than I could change my own gender. You have the same right. Why it's important to quote me and debate me is your prerogative.

Adam doesn't give a shit what his fans say about his clothing IMO nor should he. He wears some pretty ridiculous shit and it's good for a laugh. I don't give a crap if the harem pants were all over the cover of Vogue they look stupid. They looked stupid in the 90s when MC Hammer wore them and they look stupid when Adam wears them. You can easily avoid all that stuff though by not being online. It's the internet, people discuss things and it gets colorful and often times it's funny even if the humor is born out of how OTT ridiculous the person who is actually vocing their opinion. I see people say things all the time and I just laugh at how OTT their reaction is to something that has no bearing on their lives personally. Of course it's not but no one is forcing us to be on a public message board so if they way they work bothers someone they can easily remedy the situation by removing themselves from things they find upsetting. I'm not trying to define homophobia at all. I'm saying that not EVERYTHING is homophobia and saying that it is dilutes the very REAL problem of homophobia. Sooner or later all you get is eyerolls when every comment that isn't 100% PC is labeled as homophobic. I might not be gay but I worked beside and been friends with gays for long enough that I have a very good idea of what it's like. It's not as bad as it used to be but not as good as it should be. I live in a very gay friendly city so perhaps that colors my perspective a bit but life is what you make it and if you're living somewhere that is a constant struggle for you due to your sexuality then take the power and control back and get yourself into a place that is better for you. Then why open up the discussion if you have no interest in hearing other people's opinions? Minds can be changed all the time and if everyone is that rigid no progress will ever be made because that's how people move forward. Opening up to ideas that are different than your own and finding common ground to work from. I'm quite certain we share the same beliefs on the topic of homophobia and gender equality, as for why I choose to engage you in discussion, well that's what these boards are for and I assume when someone puts forth their opinion they are hoping for a response and to not be ignored. If I'm wrong please let me know and I will not engage you in discussion anymore.

And turned the question about Adam into a statement that she was NOT A FAN OF IDOL. Obviously mileage must vary on the definition of "diss". I think it's possible she heard the question as "are you a fan of Idol" not "are you a fan of Adam Lambert" and given that she has openly and spontaneously praised Adam I'm going to assume she wasn't trying to diss him.

Read more at Women's Health: www.womenshealthmag.com/life/singer-pink?page=3#ixzz21jrnz4k3This was the only thing she said: That's not a diss to Adam. Pink's one sentence, simple statement implies that she didn't watch AI on any kind of regular basis. Pink was in the middle of her physically demanding worldwide Funhouse Tour, and she is a wife and mother. I doubt she was keeping up with a singing contest on TV. : Pink has given Adam a kickass song and has praised him on several occasions. Pink may or may not feel the same about Idol, meaning she isn't really a big fan of the show, but she never said "she wasn't into Adam" and never dissed him in any way.

Are there even any LGBT people or family members on this site? Just a curious rhetorical question, I guess. Yes, there are several and they post comments and opinions on a daily and weekly basis. Guess what!? Many times, they disagree, even on LGBT issues as they pertain to Adam. Many times they dislike Adam's hairstyles or his clothing choices. A gay man disagreed with your feelings about Brad Paisley and his song yesterday in the main thread. Does his opinion "count", it doesn't agree with yours.
