I think a lot of other gays are embraced because of the lack of make-up. Adam is flamboyant, but this era he has really laid off the make-up and I believe will continue to do so. I know he knows and he is willing to some degree bend for masses. Look at Kesha. She is tying to eliminate the trashy look. She looked fairly decent last nite at the VMA's. Her dress was her own design. Unfortunately, I didn't think it was attractive, and did not look good on her.
I didn't watch boycotting, but I did see a pic today. She is revamping her image. Now she is supposed to wale and be her true self. Don't know how that will work out. Gaga is looking out for Gaga, and she probably wants to use Ocean in one of her songs. She won't use Adam, becasue Adam sings way better than her.
Adam will do what it takes. He may have eat a little shit to do so, but he will maintain his integrity in doing all of it. It make take its toll on him. In today's music business, it's a doggie eat doggie world, and I do not believe doors are waing to open up as one closes. he has create those doors, and he will. He is one of the hardest working guys in the business. I believe it will all come thru for him, but at a big price.

I am afraid that I might get kicked out of the Dark Side for being so negative but here goes. I think a spot on the Fashion Police does Adam more harm than good. It is a frivolous and shallow show. Adam already has a reputation as being too much about fashion in a lot of eyes I would guess. He needs to get gigs that are all about the music and less about silly celebrity. It's about branding. His image is set, and that's not a bad thing. Most artists don't make the news based on their music, but on their brand. the thing is - he loves that stuff. He loves fashion. I can't see how appearing on this show can hurt him. May be they'll let him talk a little. I wonder what demo watches that program... any exposure is good, just to remind people that he exists.... and I am thinking this week is good for ratings due to the NYFW... He's been out of any mass media for too long...I so hope that there are other appearances lined up...this is the biggest problem with the whole AI "wait" - lack of anything (we know of) for several weeks, and the single needs the promo...

How come no one on here has an avi??? I can't answer for anyone else, but I am tech challenged in a big way, and have yet to put the effort into learning how to do it. I read the instruction page and in a way I felt like I was reading Greek. I would love to have a avi with Adam's pretty face though.

Adam already has a reputation as being too much about fashion in a lot of eyes I would guess. He needs to get gigs that are all about the music and less about silly celebrity. My thoughts, for what they are worth. I'm delighted that Adam will be on Fashion Police ... and I totally disagree that it will do him any harm. I'm sure he is delighted to be able to do this ... I've watched this show since it started (I guess that makes me shallow?) and love it, as do all my friends. It's basically Joan River's comedy show ... she picks apart EVERYONE ... that's her schtick. Adam has a fabulous sense of humor and will 'get' it. (She does get pretty raunchy sometimes, tho.) Kelly Osborne is one of the regulars and she adores Adam ... they've met many times and she has always gushed over him ... Kelly and Adam have both judged RuPaul's Drag Race. Another regular is George Kotsiopoulos who is a "magazine editor, fashion consultant, stylist and television personality. He is currently style editor at large for C magazine and formerly a fashion associate at The New York Times Magazine. He is co-host of Fashion Police." And he's always said nice things about Adam. (He's also gay ... and styles a lot of the major stars.) I think they will all have a good time. They get about a million viewers per show. Her guests are usually on for only about 10 minutes but he'll get to talk. I think it'll be fun. Don't know if being in the NY Fashion Week location instead of the L.A. studio will change anything in their regular format. ETA: Nina Garcia has been a guest, as well as a lot of people in the fashion world ... I think people enjoy being on this show.

How come no one on here has an avi??? Ha, ha, so funny, JazzRocks. I was noticing that in Moon Garden many of the avi's are non-Adam related. Just speaking for myself, I have a strange aversion to committing--it's nearly pathological; I even get a little angsty ripping off price tags, just in case I think I might return something. (Of course I do DO it before I commit to WEARING something, lol). I also am a bit shy abt "advertising" other people's names or images on clothing. I wouldn't even wear the concert shirts I bought in the 70s! Weird, I know. I keep thinking when I have time I will sketch one with some cryptic message for myself, scan it, and use it. But I'm also a perfectionist, so just thinking abt what it could potentionally be could take months of preplanning. And then the execution and the actual scanning--well we're prolly looking at a good three-four months out. Sometimes I don't like being a Virgo, lol. We're boring and neurotic--strange combo!

I too enjoy the show though sometimes JR gets a little too "catty" for my taste in people. I just want Adam to be known more for his outstanding musical ability than celebrity. Right now I think he is more famous for his persona than his music. Better than not being known at all though.

Yes Frank Ocean got to perform at the VMA's but did you see that performance? I actually think Beiber can run rings around him as far as singing live is concerned. That is how bad it was.

Preaching to the converted here but just want to point out another double standard example;
Florida's 'Whistle';
If Adam was to sing this would Radio ever play it?
