just want to address the "jealousy" comment: (nothing to do with Ocean) - YES, I AM JEALOUS in the worst meaning of the word. I am more that jealous - I am FURIOUS at the fact that the TALENT of Adam's magnitude is not being recognized by the "establishment", that he is not an integral part of the award shows, that he is not mentioned in the media, that his name (if referenced) is invoked to bring up the dress style and not his incredible singing. I too am jealous. I don't want to be because it is such a destructive emotion, but it is hard to control when someone I admire so much for both talent and character is ignored or demeaned. One of the saddest things I have heard Adam say is the he is tired of being a punchline. How tragic that he has to feel that way. Radio, MTV, VH1 all have given him the cold shoulder. The iheart radio concert has so many acts, but not Adam. I am sending out the best wishes I can to the Universe Adam seems to believe in that Trespassing breaks through the barriers and allows his star to shine as it should.

My jealousy comment had everything to do with Ocean. It was not about other artists, the establishment, or awards. The comment was directed at the fans who are questioning Ocean's "gayness" in any way. (on message boards and twitter)

Can someone PLEASE post a link to this infamous FO performance? I've been looking for it on YT and all I can find are either audios only, old performances or some jerk doing a cover. I'd really like to form an opinion by actually watching the performance. : Anyone?

I find it very sad and ironic that people who complain about Adam allegedly being treated like a bad guy for not being the "right kind of gay", are treating Frank like a bad guy for being the "right kind of gay"... I am not sure I have seen anyone here treating Frank like a bad guy because of what kind of gay he is. I have seen comments about his vocals and I for one don't much like the music I have heard. The media seems to mention his past relationship, but maybe that is really not what is driving his fame. Maybe it really is The Music. hip/hop r & b (or however one classifies it) is still the big thing. My frustration and possible realization is the "masses" do not like the music of Adam Lambert. Hopefully that changes with Trespassing.

Thanks! I mean...uh..maybe not. ETA: I'm deleting my criticism of FO's VMA performance. I wrote what I was feeling - no filter. But it wasn't very nice - so bye-bye. My opinion still stands but this is no place for it. :D

I am disappointed about Idol because it would have in my opinion made a big star out of him. Now he will have to make it the much harder way. What I hate the most about this situation is that he is once again at the mercy of radio, and I see no reason to hope that radio will embrace him now even though Trespassing is a fabulous song and I love the radio edit.

I was pretty much resigned to him not getting the gig when he took all his Ambien posts down. It wasn't because he had to project a more wholesome image for Idol; it was because he learned he was no longer in the running. I am actually happier that it appears to be Randy and not Enrique. It would have KILLED me to see Enrique's sales take off as a result of being on Idol. We know that won't happen with Randy.

I feel exactly the same way about it is better that Randy got it so we won't have to see Enrique' star shoot up because of Idol. On the other hand, it is an insult that someone so uncharismatic and really boring and not fresh as Randy beat out Adam.

Added to the fact that Adam is way more articulate, is visual candy and would do honest critiques of the contestants, there is the fact that bringing Adam back would have given them something truly unique - no other show has a successful former contestant on the judges panel. I'm still holding out a sliver of hope, mostly because I can't believe Idol would be that dumb.
