Did I understand the photographer/adam correctly..?! Adam used to work for him at Starbucks when he was 16? What I heard was the guy was Adam's first manager when he was 18. OMG that would feel sort of surreal, especially considering the transformation.

www.cultureworld.co.uk/2012/05/adam-lambert-becomes-the-first-out-gay-artist-to-top-the-billboard-top-200-album-chart/UK Adam Lambert Becomes The First Out Gay Artist To Top The Billboard Top 200 Album Chart Congratulations are in order for American Idol alum Adam Lambert today because his new album Trespassing has debuted in the #1 spot atop this week’s Billboard magazine Top 200 Album Chart. Not only is this #1 album significant in terms of Adam‘s success but it is also historic in that Lambert is now the first openly gay artist to have the #1 album in the US — ever! Click below to read all the deets about Adam‘s revolutionary and much deserved achievement. Yes, yes, all of that is well and good and really fantastic but here is what is even more significant about Adam Lambert‘s #1 album: Honestly, I’m quite surprised that it’s taken this long for an out gay performer to reach the #1 spot on the Billboard Top 200. But, this is a very significant achievement, one that Adam will be able to enjoy forever. He is the first out performer to hit #1, no one else will ever take that distinction from him. Sometime in the (hopeful) near future, we won’t even have to take notice of gay artist achievements on the album charts because our culture will evolve beyond caring … but until that day, we should happily celebrate each significant achievement like this one. Congrats Adam! The writer from the Village Voice deserves huge kudos for doing the necessary research and giving enough credibility to give this story wings. If it had just been said by fans it don't think Adam would be getting this recognition he deserves. I think most people just assumed it had already happened. YAY for real reporting!

*coughNCOEisGrowingOnMeCough* Dare I admit it? Yes go ahead:-) I have always liked the song, even when I heard it from the Bruno demo. It is just not like the other Trespassing songs which I like as well and better. NCOE is a good song and starting to be OK that the label/Adam picked it for the single even though I would have preferred an Adam penned song personally. My top two favorites right now from the album are Runnin, Shady, and then really all of them. And surprisingly enough, I thought I will scroll over BTIKM when playing the album in succession but haven't... Hi Adamfanem - met you at the Bing. I have been wondering why the three bonus tracks were deemed "bonus". Runnin' and Take Back could have been single hits, only IMO !!!!!! Also I think Nirvana is genius - lyrics are wonderful.

I wish we could see NCOE on the top of Evropa2 t-music chart in the Czech Republic as well. I'm glad at least Slovak fans discovered how amazing and talented Adam is (hopefully we will follow soon *fingers crossed*).

LOL, Slovak news agency is so thrilled for Adam's amazing success that they published the same article about his topping BB 200 twice in 12 hrs ;D In other case I'd call them idiots but maybe a journalist just fell in love with our bb, so I forgive her/him

Always love to meet Atopers and that was a fun time and thanks to Willowgarden for letting me be her +1:-) I actually like the bonus tracks the best, just didn't want to say it too loudly. But that is not saying all that much since I love the whole album. I DO think the bonus tracks have even more Adam flavor, or at least as much, as many others on the album. And as many have said before me, the journey from rebel in Trespassing opening song to Nirvana in the closing song is the PERFECT path for struggle then attaining enlightenment. This is why I think the Deluxe version is the most complete body of work and glad it is selling so well.
