well i hate to say it ,and i sure hope not ,but it is more likely to be leona lewis ,please remember AFL is almost unheard of in the u.k apart from a small,hardcore bunch of fans I truly believe with the press he seems to be getting in the UK, the #1 album cred here, and now the invite to sing at the Royal Albert Hall is opening doors for him. And by the time the Olympics come around most of the UK - well at least the ones that pay attention to the music scene and as it relates to Queen, will know about Adam and is mega-talent. And I do stand behind that if Queen in fact performs Adam will be the singer! Also goes with my FU rebel post earlier... I can't imagine Brian and Roger singing with anyone else at this stage. They asked for Adam at the EMAs, probably against the wishes of TPTB, got him, and it was a smash. In August, after weeks of rehearsals and five or six performances, I'm sure they would insist on Adam again. Nothing else makes sense. (To me, anyway ;D) |

OT kind of but relates to the 'older fan stigma'....I went to my Verizon store and asked if they could show me if an artist's new music is available for a ringtone. She takes my phone flips it open and said, "Who is the guy in this picture?" I said Adam Lambert. The young female clerk standing next to her says '"I love Adam Lambert!" So we had a nice conversation about Trespassing and Adam doing concerts with Queen. Then the gal who asked about my picture says to me, "Do you think Adam Lambert is HOT?" She said this in a condescending way to give the affect that I was probably one of these crazy 'older fans'. I looked at her and said,"Hot? No I do not think he's hot in the way you are saying it. I'm too old for that but I appreciate him as an amazing artist with a voice like no body else out there right now. I have been around a lot longer than you and I have seen greats like Elvis, MJ, Freddie etc. and Adam is the next in line to follow them." Then she proceeded to same something again about did I think one of them were hot. Again I said No...I just appreciate great talent. If my stare could do a 'slap down'...well...she didn't say another word. My son was with me and he said later that he could tell by the tone of my voice that the girl better not say another thing and was glad she STFU (well I said that...not my son lol) because he said "she doesn't want to mess with you if she gets you to your red zone...LOOK OUT!'! LOL I was not about to let her go down that 'old crazy fan' path with me. I was having a very calm conversation with the other girl who loved Adam and was asking me questions about him. I was not flailing and I will not tolerate someone trying to make me feel 'stupid' because I still appreciate good music. Sorry I rambled on so long but I'm still PISSED upset! So I think I'll post this pic to feel betterer! ;D  |

You're welcome nica575  No that's it. I believe what they usually do (all of these shows like mtv vh1 etc) is that they film something and then they split it to small videos every once in a while. I believe in the future we'll have more parts. |
