This is Top 40 impact day. While I appreciate the adds from HAC and Canada, what I am looking for is Top 40 adds! I believe people were hoping for 10 CHR adds on CHR impact day, not total adds-including those from Canada. I knew in the back of my mind that doing radio shows doesn't mean adds from that station. I have read this too many times with specific examples over at MJs, but I didn't want to say anything because fans were so convinced that radio shows=adds to the station. This hasn't always been true in the past and it isn't true now in Adam's case. :( No, I said I'd be happy with 10 adds if the majority were from Top 40. Of course, like I said, I did expect Q and Boston. Q3, can you explain that weird ad saying that Boston and Q102 added early? Or ask your RCA friends, "WTF?!" ;D You already won....  :D |

Exactly. It's great to look at things in a glass half full way but I was certainly hoping for CHR adds!
And - I'm not a mod so I'll probably get my fingers smacked for this but can we stop with the lecturing to the older fans? When things get stressful here we seem to eat our own (to quote Adam about the LGBT community).
I'm hitting "reply" and I might be sorry. He has 7 top 40 adds with 54% in. On a week where several stations don't add at all because of the holiday weekend. Those who didn't add anyone at all this week include Boston Kiss 108, one of the two bigger stations some expected to add. It is far from a disaster. |

Good point! I didn't realize Boston didn't add anyone. I'm just mad about Q102 - my local station.
Rejoicing on twitter for both adds & sales so I'm more than OK with it!!!

Far from a disaster! It's a great adds day. No adds day for BTIKM came close to this. But I still want to ask Joe at RCA "WTF?!"  |

Still, the CHR adds are getting closer to the "magic 10 number". LOL Like you, I would still like to know WTF happened with Q102 and Boston! This pretty much proves that doing radio shows does not always mean a single will get added to a station. I knew that....just was hoping for the best case scenario in Adam's case!  |

How do you get Canada adds to show on the mediabase chart? They don't show on mine. |
