I don't know...I'm skeptical about that "Adam fired the sound guy" story. I would think each venue would have their own sound team. But what do I know? (Answer: virtually nothing.)
As for my comment on the sound guy...
Well, he is one of the two main DJs and he actually saw it happen and overhead it. He's a big supporter of Adam and DC glamberts so don't think he'd intentionally exagerate. He was drunk but not at the time it happened. I don't think he would have told me if he hadn't been drunk later though. lol.
I didn't think the had a sound guy traveling with him but a friend of mine @merrycello said he did after telling her about this. Whoever it was really pissed off Adam though! Sounds like the DJ has loose lips and drunk or not, should have kept his mouth shut. That was Adam's business - not his to report. :-/ |

That fits with Adam leaving the hotel and flying today. Maybe Brian said that to the fan because he thought they might be stalking, in order to throw them off the track, LOL.
True. Adam also told a fan (she had the pleasure of getting on the same elevator with him in WB) that he wasn't staying at Gaylord. Think his plans changed though so didn't have to leave. Or, didn't want to tell her the truth either. lol.
I have a few pics to post and will do my own little recap on the Freshtival thread. Have a hangover so moving very slowly today...
Oh, BTW - Maybe you know this but a 94.7 DJ told me in a drunken state at about 12:00 am that he saw and overhead Adam fire his sound guy after the show. The DJ (told me not to tweet it out last night though may be common knowledge now) said he'd never want that job! lol. since it was a radio show wouldn't the station have provided the sound people? that's always been my understanding and the reason why there are so many issues at this types of shows because they just don't have the knowledge of each individual performer to get the sound mix right. |

Between watching videos ( I haven't finished yet) I thought let's do a research for the spiked shorts. And I was talking to my daughter about Adam's shorts, she said to me "They're really cool, don't you know it's the latest trend in fashion?' I swear I had absolutely no idea about it! First time I didn't know !! My Adam stanning is stopping me from everything else! And I googled and it seems that there are MANY spiked shorts lol! There's a picture here with Rihanna wearing them and many more. So it is very possible that he bought them like they are! I don't have the time to look for them now but someday maybe I will! bit.ly/MYVieg |

Following a suggestion by cassie, I did an autotune demo of Adam's voice which she thinks you'll all get a kick out of  picosong.com/wfps/Included not-autotuned versions too. You can hear how the autotune just doesn't know what to do with all the little nuances Adam puts in there while singing, like little grace notes, vibrato, the short runs, and the switches up into head voice. All the singers who really rely on it have to sing without any of these nuances, kind of robotic like, for the autotune to work, but they really bring the melodies to life as Adam always shows so masterfully! Oh and fun fact, I had to set the autotune level to "heavy" before I even got a result! And these were just spur of the moment acapellas!  |

Well.. so Adam's actually a very nice and patient boss. But I guess he cannot fire the guy when he had back to back concerts to do. Now he's done for this month they have to look for another one for London and west coast concerts.... maybe our Kanadie would like to offer his assistance??? |

Sounds legit to me. Well, it does make sense that Adam would have his own sound guy for a series of concerts like he just did. And since that was the last show, and he's had issues before last night, a perfect time to can his ass. For someone like Adam who is such a perfectionist, it must be maddening to know that his audience isn't hearing the best from him. It's one thing to fuck up a bit here and there-- mistakes happen. But to make it so that Adam completely messes up an entire song-- unforgivable. |
