I always love seeing and hearing articles, blogs and videos that show Adam in Russia and China. If Adam can make it there, he can make it...New York, New York. That Adam has so much appeal to music fans in Russia and China might seem strange. But I think that appeal comes from the fact that Adam is seen as a rebel, a revolutionary even, someone who is outside the mainstream and dares to trespass. In countries with totalitarian governments, Adam represents the freedom to "be me". All right, don't know about Russia, but I think he's gaining ground in China because he sings catchy pop songs fit into the popular music style there... Besides, he's a tall, exotic creature with raven hair and pretty pretty blue eyes, which surely helps too I don't think it has anything to do with governments

The good thing though about this sound guy episode is that this happened now with the promo concerts, so he has time to sort it out before the future tour. With the GNT tour I don't remember him having so many sound issues (is my memory serving me correctly here?).
With the upcoming Queen concerts I'm sure Queen will have their own sound guy and that guy better be good (I trust he will be).
ETA: had to change my avi to this gif 'cause I cannot get my eyes off it

Cassie, I agree that it was big to Adam. Which is why he fired the sound guy. I was saying it wasn't something fans should worry about in terms of Adam's reputation or career, lol. One icky performance amongst hundreds and hundreds of fantastic ones is no big deal in the grand scheme of things and it won't "hurt" Adam in any way. I think that was what i was saying too. He didn't let it show if he was mad, but I am sure he was very frustrated. But not a big deal to the fandom in the big scheme of things.

Still trying to catch up and I just watched this. He's pissed, he stops singing, then he laughs, come on man, turn the keyboards up! HE IS PISSED. Yes he was really pissed. He asked him to turn up the keybord so many times and at one point he said it in between singing and looked at Brian few times and he stopped singing all together because of it. And this was when Adrian Moreira and RCA P Nelson were there with him. ..

I think something so minor as a youtube of a mucked up performance will just be a little blip if anything at all. I'm sure all artists have them. I remember when I was so worried that the release of that horrid bastard Beg For Money CD would hurt him and I don't think it hurt him at all, and that was a whole lot bigger than one concert performance youtube. Most people will understand it for what it was.
