www.justjared.com/2012/05/28/adam-lambert-trespassing-toronto/Adam Lambert is all smiles as he arrives at Pearson International Airport on Monday (May 28) in Toronto, Canada. The 30-year-old singer is in town to promote his latest album, ‘Trespassing’. During the week, he’ll be dropping by MuchMusic’s New.Music.Live show in addition to paying a visit to 104.5 CHUM FM. In its first week out, ‘Trespassing’ grabbed the number one spot on the Billboard 200. Adam kicked off the Memorial Day weekend on Friday by performing in New Jersey for the 15th Annual WPLJ Summer Blast-Off which was held last Friday.

Still trying to catch up and I just watched this. He's pissed, he stops singing, then he laughs, come on man, turn the keyboards up! HE IS PISSED. Wow, for sure he was pissed. He had gestured several times before that about turning up the keyboards and apparently the sound guy wasn't getting the hint. Yikes, I don't think sound guy should expect a reference from Adam when he goes looking for his next job

I was just watching the livestream, and I'm sure it's been discussed in detail in the concert thread, but basically Adam couldn't hear himself properly and he messed up his key and as a result lost some lyrics. In the grand scheme of things, I don't think it is any kind of big deal. And I don't really think the audience noticed it as much as hardcore stans did. But still, I'm sure Adam was pretty annoyed. By the next song, everything was brilliant again Honestly it wasn't a really big thing. Shit happens, and it was pretty much a hot mess. Thank goodness for the divas and Brian because they carried the song. He was communicating with the sound folks and stopping and starting singing thru the song, but was laughing and seemed to be having as much fun with is as the situation allowed. You could tell he was frustrated, but then when they made the jokes about the 6 different keys after the song it was hilarious. He's a pro and handled the whole thing very well. Even if he was really mad, the casual observer wouldn't have suspected a thing.
I agree. Those of us who've seen him so many times & know his issues w/ sound can interpret what's happening on stage better than the casuals. I was close enough to see his freckles & hair on his legs, & could see the looks he made when not directly facing the audience. I never heard such problems with IIHY during GNT (or at least not seen a problem last a whole damn song). Hot mess is right. He so wants it to be just right & he couldn't fix it this time. But he's so professional. I'm sure by the tour, they'll work out the kinks.
I distracted myself during IIHY by just staring at his shorts. ;D

Cassie, I agree that it was big to Adam. Which is why he fired the sound guy. I was saying it wasn't something fans should worry about in terms of Adam's reputation or career, lol. One icky performance amongst hundreds and hundreds of fantastic ones is no big deal in the grand scheme of things and it won't "hurt" Adam in any way. I think that was what i was saying too. He didn't let it show if he was mad, but I am sure he was very frustrated. But not a big deal to the fandom in the big scheme of things. Oh. I see. Never mind. We each have our sensitive topics and areas about Adam. I can let lots of things roll off my back without so much as a blink. But, when it comes to his voice, his musicality? Not so much. If someone or something messes him up so that he cannot sing at the level he is capable and he demands of himself, I get all kinds of crazy protective and concerned for him.
