Maybe I don't watch enough music videos but I don't see anything "cheesy" about this one. Some of the ones I have watched (with bigger budgets I'm sure) seem to be mindless dancing or boring desert scenes.
More of the dancing - YES! But only if the video were extended. The time leading up to the dancing was needed for the storyline. Without that the big COLORFUL DANCING BURST OUT wouldn't have made as big an impact.
I LOVE IT!!! And yeah - what NoAngel said!

Okay last post and then I've got to get ready for work. I understand if some people feel that the video could have had more amazing effects, more dancing, more etc. But seriously, take any 5 random videos from the VH1 Top 20 and you'll quickly see that most MVs are pretty dull and uninspired. Unless you've got Gaga amounts of cash, of course, in which case you get to make freakishly expensive videos that are more WTF than anything else. Adam gets huge credit from me for always thinking outside the box and being so creative with his videos. And I love him even more for making videos that reflect some aspect of his personality. In this case, the power of positivity to make change and to break free. Pretty awesome, I think. Ah, Yes to the yes! Amen.

I think that the young people watching this video will love it and just think how exciting and fun it is without going into all these deep analytical thoughts. Young minds - gotta love em. They are not jaded yet and just live in and enjoy the moment. I've seen many music vids that make no sense at all but are exciting and fun to watch. I love that kind. I think Adam has an amazing and brilliant and curious mind and does not settle for the commonplace and ordinary and the done to death scenerios. 8-)

Never Close Our Eyes, an anthemic summer sensation, scored a future-set music video that looks to take a page right out of The Hunger Games. Specifically the third book, Mockingjay. (Linked to video)

I looked on itunes and don't see the single there. Is it under pop?
Also a little disheartened to see his deluxe album sitting at 42. I mean WTF?? People need to hear this album, I hope NCOE kicks some serious ass. BTW, I love the video, only watched it twice coz i have to go to work, but will def. be berting some more when I get home this afternoon:)

At least to me it does :-/ Having a hard time figuring out what people expected in 4 minutes? << Agreeing with you here. In the world of cheezy videos, this one does not even come close. It hasn't beat out FYE, for my favorite Adam video, but it is a very strong 2nd.
