Listening on AO official since I do not receive my tour pack until Wednesday and Amazon says the CD/DVD will not ship until Monday. Have some pretty awesome speakers for the computer. Love it. It is amazing and so I decided I better order a spare tour pack because I might actually wear the T-Shirt and I want a cd for the car, one for the cd player, and one for the shrine. I never thought of myself as a BSC fan but I think I am getting there. hey it's all part of the Sisterhood of the Silver Pants ;D ;D

They gave Kesha's new album a 4. Clearly they are being run by a 13 yr old girl. I wouldn't be surprised if they gave that Friday song a 4 too. lol. EH WHATEVER. Some of the best loved acts and legends started off to terrible reviews. So this isn't anything really. And who cares it's one dude's opinion anyways. I'm convinced that any male reviewer of Adam needs to be highly evolved and secure in his sexuality to give Adam his due where it is deserved, and we know how few and far between those men are : If they were caught gushing about his amazing vocals they might have their precious man card revoked. BTW all the men on this site belong to the elusive minority. OT- For all of you lovers of To Kill a Mockingbird, you need to read Peace Like a River. There are many parallels starting with the voice of the narrator and the father/Atticus. It was so beautifully written I found myself re-reading sentences just because they were so poetic/magical/beautiful. Here's a snippet of a review. To the list of great American child narrators that includes Huck Finn and Scout Finch, let us now add Reuben "Rube" Land, the asthmatic 11-year-old boy at the center of Leif Enger's remarkable first novel, Peace Like a River. Rube recalls the events of his childhood, in small-town Minnesota circa 1962, in a voice that perfectly captures the poetic, verbal stoicism of the northern Great Plains. "Here's what I saw," Rube warns his readers. "Here's how it went. Make of it what you will." And Rube sees plenty.

Is everyone voting on the MTV Bracket site? I'm lucky enough to be able to do about 25 votes before it sends me to a cool down period. But even that many votes doesn't make a difference. Maybe most Adam fans are limited to 1 vote or something. Because this is definitely a case where Glambert's do not Represent!! ??? I was able to get 3 votes yesterday, but hate no luck today. It said they already counted my vote. ??? newsroom.mtv.com/2011/03/15/march-madness-u2-kesha-green-day-adam-lambert/I just tried again, and same dang thank you already counted your vote. :-/ Sucks!!!! I have only contributed one vote, this pisses me off! Thank you to all of you that can get in multiple votes, Green Day looks hard to beat. :-/

I have only heard part of Britney's new album but the part I heard was quite good. Not defending RS for their rock cred snobbery but that is their issue not Britney's. ETA: didilynn -- ITA hate the "playacting" critique -- but 3 stars from RS is better than 2-1/2. Thanks for the context on the RS review. As far as the playacting comment, if they mean that stage Adam is not everyday RL Adam, then even Adam would agree with that. It's glam rock, RS, It's supposed to be over the top. It's supposed to be fun and playful. Well, ladies , at least even RS thinks he wears too many clothes. Strip, Adam, Strip. I can certainly support fewer clothes!!! Regarding Aftermath Remix being sent to US radio -- so far there is no indication that RCA will support it with promo $$ -- and that means that it will get only limited airplay in the US. Things can change but it would make little sense for RCA or Adam to spend a few hundred thousand dollars to build this into a moderate hit. And even $1 million will not make it a #1 song. I expect scattered airplay.

I just googled the 1992 Rolling Stone Album Guide and they gave Queen a poor review. Said Freddy Mercury was more like Liza Minnelli. Also read on artistsfacts.com , that RS have always given Queen and Styx 2/5 stars on their studio albums..Wish I could bring this over.. Please google.. After reading this,I think RS loves Adam.

On the Rolling Stone review -- 1. A 3 from RS is good -- they are harsh critics. According to Metacritic: For 2,740 reviews, Rolling Stone has graded: * 34% higher than the average critic * 3% same as the average critic * 63% lower than the average critic 2. RS was not a fan of Bowie or Freddy in the 70's and 80's -- only in the rear view mirror. Well this makes me feel better, because I received my RS mag today and read the review. My take was the guy totally acknowledged Adam's vocal chops/ability/talent, but, he seems to want a less choreographed performance. My opinion only, if Adam is going more vocal and more organic for album #2, his next tour will probably also reflect this and not have the same choreography as the first tour. Many different sides, as WE all know, Rolling Stone is probably waiting for the more vocal and organic Adam to appear. I actually believe they like him, after album #2 comes out it will be interesting to see what they have to say.

Maybe RCA put it out to keep Adam fans busy and productive or they might spontaneously combust with nothing to do ;D ;D Well, it's a fine idea! Aftermath Remix and release to radio, AI performance, GNT Live DVD, interspersed with twitter twota--yeah, that should get us through next week at least! ;D ;D ;D I'm hungry for a meaty interview next--long one, print with video, too. Then a photo shoot or two. Maybe some bubble tweets. Candid photos out with Sauli. Is that too much to ask?
