Maybe some happy news are needed? Seems like Sirius CHR started spinning NCOE today. Hang in there, its important to support ncoe right now when its close to breaking top50 on CHR. I'm not going anywhere! I tweeted the SIRIUS links this morning already!! They were a MAJOR spinner for BTIKM!

Here's the thing, I've lost the enthusiasm, but I am still requesting. U-Mix-It I get to sometimes, but that thing is just a joke---it is "Idol Fest" for 4 hours, lol.

rabbitrabbit, I understand the burn out. We've been requesting since January, non stop, not from the adds date of NCOE. And when we see the results so slow, it is easy, IMO, to understand why people get burnt out and discouraged. And seeing some of the big spinners decreasing by large amounts adds to the burn out. Just my opinion. That's just it. We're going on 6 months of requesting like crazy, not just a few weeks. RCA released this single back in April, gave radio over a month to impact date to try to get on board. A few did but those few are now decreasing spins cause the rest of the country is, for the most part, not getting on board. I call my local CHR stations to request and I get a heavy sigh from the DJ and "we'll pass on your request." And that's it. Same response every time and that's very disheartening. At this point, it's up to RCA. If labels can revive songs like Ellie Goulding's Lights, that had pretty much died and get airplay for artists like Cher Loyd, Olly Murs, who aren't exactly burning up the charts and do not have a groundswell fan movement to get them airplay, then that tells me RCA is not doing all they could be doing. At this point, I just hope Adam absolutely blows up in the UK and Europe and makes the U.S. look like idiots. I see Shoshanna really fighting for him in the UK. I just don't see that same fight happening for him over here.

I will say it again, because it seems to workout almost each and every time. whenever I get really down over Adam, radio, etc. something great happens.... This is really not too hard to fathom with all the terrific stuff ,starting tonight and then Queen,TV shows, etc. I feel numb...but ...Fingers crossed.I'm anticipating joyful happenings and real soon.No pollyanna here, just going by past happenings and future superstardom.. LOL
Of course Adam inspires me ,he is like the ever ready battery .. just keeps going.. shit could rain from the sky .. Adam just opens an umbrella.

Looks like we won't be getting updates on #51-200 anymore. This is from Pulse: ETA: While Soundscan is sales, not radio charts, the admins of this board feel that the mediabase 51-200 chart also falls under the "copyrighted material" status. It is copyrighted info. I have Soundscan access but cannot post anything from it here because the license to do that is sooooo expensive.

Chart News @chartnews WW sales: Madonna, @mdna 23,000 (1,321,000) | @adamlambert, Trespassing 23,000 (155,000). Chart News @chartnews BB200: #6 @carrieunderwood, Blown Away 32k (517k) | #24 @adamlambert, Trespassing 12k (112k) | #51 @kelly_Clarkson, Stronger 9k (815k). ---- Total sales for Trespassing: 112,000 units in the US and 33,000 in the rest of the world (including Canada). I check the Rick Dees countdown every week. www.rick.com/show/hot-adult-06-09-2012NCOE is currently #38. I put in an email request for NCOE but am wondering how he makes up his countdown. His top 20 countdown is on my local radio station each Saturday morning and he says it's song that listeners voted for. His countdown does not appear to be the same as the normal HAC list. The top songs are way behind in that they topped the CHR charts sometimes a year earlier. WWFM was #1 or 2 for weeks in the summer of 2010. I'm wondering if anyone knows any more about how to vote for songs on his chart. This chart is not based on voting. It is based at least in part on airplay and is a custom chart.

Has anyone else noticed that it is taking longer for even the bigger names to get to platinum sales these days - except for the anomaly named Adele, of course. I don't think Madonna's sales are that great worldwide considering the icon she is. Artists who used to go platinum in a couple weeks now take months, it seems. Just musing on a slow Sat...

And even with Kelly's 3 singles and an album worth buying, it will probably take her about a year!
