LMAO - if there is one phrase I could remove from Adam's vocabulary it would be "are you guys having fun" ... "I'm not cool enough to work with Pharrell" would have to go first  For me, "are you having fun?" is ritualistic. The content of the sentence is not important its kind of a "honey I'm home" line which serves to connect with those around you. He doesnt really want a real answer, perhaps just a rituualistic cheer or chorus of "yeessss" etc. On the Pharrell story - yeah I was thinking about that. I think the arc of the story is : "i thought i was not cool enough but we really connected and created something great together". Underlying message to his fans: you may think youre not cool enough and you maybe surprised too."  |

LOL I read they were great, but haven't seen anything about "showing up" the US band. I think pro musicians are trained to do what they did... so not surprising at all. They were good but I don't think they showed up anyone. Hard to tell with the quality of the videos, but from what I saw, I'd say Isaac, Brian, Ashley, Brian and the VJJ's have nothing to worry about. And why, even in RAH does Adam still have sound problems!! He was directing that soundman the entire set! :-/ I wonder about the sound problems too! He sounded fabulous as always, but for me, it took a tiny bit away from his performance to see him directing the soundman as often as he did, instead of being totally focused on his performance. :-/ Thanks to all those who gave us vids and brought them here to share!! I also didn't hear the backup singers very well.. wondering if this is just in the vids and the sound of the backup vocals were better live? |

I've noticed that in the last few interviews where he referenced Pharrel he did not use the "not cool enough" line. He is aware. |

So...starting next week it will be a couple of weeks with Adam practicing with Queen right?
Wouldn't it be great if someday Brian and Roger made an album with Adam and they introduced some of the songs Freddie wrote when he was too sick to perform any longer? Adam making a rock album with Queen...now that would be history making. I like dreaming BIG!! 8-)
