Then he is the one artist who has sound issues during most of his songs at almost every show he does. It is unusual.
My dh (who is a sound guy -- not a musical one though) was trying to explain that it also has something to do with a vocalist -- maybe that's one of the differences why we see it more with Adam. I stopped going to concerts many years ago because I could not hear the words even for artists for whom I had all of their CDs. The band before Adam at Freshtival last month had a nice sound, but I could make out very much of the lyrics. Adam is the one vocalist whose words I can almost always hear when he is singing. I really appreciate that he cares so much about the quality of the sound!!! ETA: I could NOT make out much of the lyrics of the warm up band.

Thanks Cassie! That is what I was trying to say---although apparently not very well.

I too think the "ladies and gentlemen" part is a little corny but I also view it as very respectful. It sorta reminds me of a ring leader at a circus announcing the next act. But, given Adam's stage upbringing it is a very natural address for him to use. I think it's sorta endearing actually as it's now so much a part of his performance.

Aloha, I think your Fault is still a long way off ... I haven't received mine here on the West Coast yet, so I imagine your turtle is still treading water, waiting to pick up his cargo. :(
