OT: Just saw a television ad on HGTV for Adele's freaking "21" album, "available everywhere," not for any specific store.
WTF? Are they trying to reach the six people left east of the Missippi who haven't bought it yet?
I don't understand record companies, I truly don't. Why bother to spend the money?
Now back to your regularly scheduled programming...

I think its quite telling that in the title song of Trespassing, Adam sings: "I don’t need no sympathy.
I won’t cry and whine.
Life’s my light and liberty and I’ll shine,
When I want to shine" Adam is someone who knows that things aren't always ideal, hell sometimes not always fair. But Adam always CHOOSES to look towards the light.I wish more people on earth thought in this fashion.  |

Glizzard? Not sure where that would have come from or what it has to do with Adam, but it was the only one I could think of. Perhaps it refers to the shoes he is wearing. Dunno.
Now on the pride thing, I have to admit that I am clearly slow on the uptake. Did not catch that one. Embarrassed....hanging head.....
Other question: Why are we seeing now reviews from RAH? Would that event not be covered in typical UK entertainment news or will we see such coverage only by Monday? What timelines are common in UK for music show reviews?

I thought the board could use a couple of AWWWW moments.
Some of you may have seen this video of a baby watching Adam on her mom's iPhone (the whole video is great, but the action at 1:45 is priceless).
I wondered if the little girl's Adam obsession stayed with her, and found this video of her, a little older, singing IIHY.

Now back to your regularly scheduled programming... Well, there are 200 million adults (give or take a few thousand  ) in the US. That leaves 190 million who haven't bought Adele's latest CD. The madness could go on for years...decades! LOL |
