Just got a great seat at Fantasy Springs!! For those still looking, call them to find the best seat. They told me that there are still plenty of seats available and it was easy to get through on the phone. 800-827-2946. Good luck!  FYI the seats on the sides are elevated like a stadium and the middle front seats are flat. I think the very back seats are also elevated, but you might want to ask them to make sure. |

OT: Just saw a television ad on HGTV for Adele's freaking "21" album, "available everywhere," not for any specific store. WTF? Are they trying to reach the six people left east of the Missippi who haven't bought it yet? I don't understand record companies, I truly don't. Why bother to spend the money? Now back to your regularly scheduled programming... Well, there are 200 million adults (give or take a few thousand  ) in the US. That leaves 190 million who haven't bought Adele's latest CD. The madness could go on for years...decades! LOL
Thanks to my husband we have a copy of Adele's 21 -- if you remember, he bought it the week of the Trespassing release -- egad! In any case, I had an opportunity to listen to it last week. I really don't get the numbers this album has generated. The only thing I can think of is for all the listeners out there who haven't heard Bonnie Rait (sp) or Carole King, this style may be new to them. It's good but the content is redundant and, IMO, it needs to go away now. |

I got 3 tickets to FS this morning. Taking my sister & her husband. She was with me at Club Nokia & had a ball. He is a country music guy & not really a fan but I wanted to invite him to join us & he said yes. If he changes his mind between now & July 21st, we will take another friend. We bought on line first using IE which was giving us problems. Then switched to FireFox & it worked fine. Soooo excited.

Okay, I bought 2 tickets earlier this morning on-line, and after seeing Pi's post, I called back and got better tickets, so if anyone missed out and would like my first 2 tickets (in the $89 range), PM me. They're all in Section NN (on the side), but the one's I bought earlier are up a little higher (where we sat during FS1). Still good seats, but I grabbed 2 in the first row when I called back. Maybe this will help someone who couldn't get tickets. earlier. |

I thought when RAH was first announced Kelly Clarkson was also on the bill. She didn't perform yesterday so does anyone know why? Did Adam take her place?

My guess would be that there are a lot of depressed people out there My wife checked the "21" album out and said "Not for me, too depressing". We live in Vancouver, we have enough rainy days to be depressed without Adele. I cannot explain the phenomenon, and I don't care. SuBo also outsold Adam last era, but that does not make her a better singer than Adam (for me, for you ;D ) |
