Thanks all for the convo about singles... side A and Bs, physical singles... etc. While I don't think I'm much younger than those having the convo, my generation is the transitioning generation. My music was on cassettes until I could afford CDs. I don't recall ever owning vinyl, although there was a turntable in the house. My youngest son just bought a turntable last year. He is 21 and listens mostly to indie music. Unfortunately, he did take it off to NYC with him.  Lynne, we bought a turtable in Dec, 2011. Haven't cranked out the vinyls yet, but between hubby and I, we have quite a collection. It will be a time that we can really reminise, and say do you remember when. It's sad, because between 8 tracks, tapes, cd's we have lost some really good music, and we hunt for cd's wherever we can find them. |

We used to have quite a collection as well, Smokey, mostly from my husband, but a few years ago, most of them were stolen.  |
