If AI does another Adam song next week we'll know for certain it is an intentional hook. Let's take bets....what will the next one be? Next week is Motown so I hear.... I am more amused than peeved at AI appearing to recycle Adam moments this season. TV is infamous for copying successful formats, plots, looks, even whole shows in an attempt to sell an audience. Commercial TV is the epitome of derivative. If they are trying to capitalize on Adam references, it is a high compliment to Adam. However, the amusement comes in when it is obvious that they don't have a clue why Adam made those moments and those references so impressive. Should we clue them in that it is not the SONG that made us watch, but the SINGER? Not the clothing but the fact that it was so appropriate and edgy and original when Adam first wore it on AI? That repeating it cannot have the same impact as the original. Or the impact of the wearer. Or that you can employ all kinds of coaches and mentors to try and make the kids more compelling, but you cannot reproduce the art and craft and many years of creative experience that Adam brought to the show with a few hours of "quick fixes?" You cannot create a personality with all the facets of confidence, daring, originality, compassion and humility that Adam wore naturally? Adam was outstanding for so many reasons that make him impossible to reproduce. He was the perfect storm. You can't manufacture that, no matter what you try. Yup, Adam broke Idol. I so agree with you Cassie, after the other night ,I thought that show is done, even the best of this season ,can't hold a candle to Adam.I can't express how much I miss Adam. His appearance last week on IDOL,made me realize how very real my addiction is. You are so on Target ,about Idol not being able to recreate anything near Adam's talent, style or charisma,he is an original icon.

I'd really like to see the shirt he wore last night without the jacket some time. Looks like it has leather or pleather sleeves and some nice details! murly, you are too funny! In all the awesomeness of those Grove pics, you see the little spec of light on his neck?! ???

Amen ! ... you cannot recreate a masterpiece by sleight of hand.... But hey... what I noticed with my friends , including me... all Idol did was to stir up the longing to watch Adam's AI performances again... so we've been replaying all of Adam's vids while on AI.... and GNT DVD is timely... fills the void.... So whether its intentional, or just lack of creative imagination on the producers part.... all the subliminal references to Adam just reinforces how a unique and extraordinary work of art he is....

I am loling at the pics where he looks totally drunk. Wonder if he was imbibing or just caught in a weird unflattering moment. which pictures did he look totally drunk? Usually his eyes are bloodshot when he's drunk but his eyes look really clear to me. Love the green eyeliner and his radiant smile. His friend Roxy could use a burger (or ten)!!

Now my thoughts stray to wondering about Adam II…. I was watching all of Adam’s AI S8 vis… and it was in Whole Lotta Love that my fate was sealed. Utterly, shamelessly, sealed to the core. And if he has songs like this… dark, raw, sensual…. My rabbithole will get deeper… Even Glee is growing up…. And reality is biting…. I found this my stack of All things Adam…. Thought I’d post it here...memory lane ….. (Artwork from fanpop.com)

Do you have a photobucket account?? If you do you go to the pic click "share" and you will see the instructions on how to share this on twitter and add a message with the photo. I believe if you write to the message @adamlambert he will see it.

Just upload the pic to twitpic.com/ and you can tweet it from there. My latest version of TweetDeck has a button to upload a pic directly from your computer into your tweet. It uses www.yfrog.com.
