The “Whaddya Want From Me” singer seemed to be having a fabulous time mingling and posing for pictures with fellow guests at the party which was held at the SupperClub.In other news, Adam is gearing up for the exciting release of “Glam Nation Live” tour on CD/DVD coming up on March 22. Earlier this week, Lambert enthusiastically tweeted, “Off to the studio!!! Great music’s happening!”

Very interesting, and I mostly agree, I loved this: "The music I hear is continental navel-gazing. Don't do it. Look up. Address the world with that confidence that is strictly the province of this country. Don't turn inward. Don't be scared of the future. Look at it cold-eyed and try to create a new world, with your values." I have many thinky thoughts about pop music's embrace of the worst excesses of consumer culture, and hipster indie music's embrace of the personal and ephemeral as opposed to the political in a lot of cases (it's kinda why a lot of indy bands never caught my interest). What does it have to do w/ Adam's music? As we've already noted, whether he wants it or not his personal experience is politicized just because of who he is. I'm really curious as to what the songs he himself writes on his new album will be about. Love songs/relationships are a given, but will he reflect on his experiences with fame? With the music industry? With the peanut gallery of bloggers and journalists? With fans and paps? We know he is diplomatic, but he's also honest to a fault. I really look forward to hearing his take on his world in song. I know, he is honest to a fault and I can't wait to hear his voice through his lyric. His experiences. Of course that's assuming it's not all DTRH....hee hee. Yeah, as I was typing this I realized that there was really no predicting. I LOVE DTRH, and the way the lyrics, while rather random, also have a strange internal (drug-trippy, lucid-dreamy) logic at times. This is one of those songs that always gives me interesting mental images. In my mind the lyrics of DTRH are kind of a strange cross between Tom Waits' Heart of Saturday night and Jefferson Airplane's White Rabbit, but then again, my mind is a very strange place.  |

eta: forgive my grammer! had to post and run!
I had to run out to a bird place to pick up a feeder for my boss, cuz he wanted a bird feeder in front of his window at our office, so I stop by the place that is near our office, that sells bird stuff, and two of the ladies that work there are huge fans. They both went to Rockford, IL and Hammond, IN shows! The other fan wasn't working there today, but the one that was, she was excited to see someone come in with an adam shirt on. :D She was really sweet! Ill be sure to be shopping there more often hehe, and hopefully they will be coming by adamtopia! n e ways, gotta finish up work! :D just thought i would share my story! ill be on later :D Sorry to post and run!

I've often wondered how messed up my priorities are in relation to Adam. Today I found out. I met with some friends to listen to a little music and have a bite of lunch. While we were doing that, a plane crashed into the water 100 yards from us - just a little banner plane. The pilot got out, 15 or 20 men waded into the waves and dragged the plane to shore. People were running from all directions, police, fire, ambulances showed up and in an hour or so, things had calmed down. The pilot was not hurt. I went home. When I got home, my DVD was at the front door and I promptly watched it, clapping at the thought that strangers would get to see Adam in all his glory. I was so excited. About 20 minutes ago a friend called and excitedly asked, "Are you okay?" My immediate answer was, "OMG, I am but I can't believe how fabulous he is." Needless to say, she had heard on the radio at work about the plane crash, soon after it happened, and when they gave the general area, it encompassed the location of my house." I had forgotten all about THAT event in the excitement of Adam. Only here can I relate that story and expect some sort of understanding. I totally get this. My brain has developed a super function whereby anything GNAFL related bypasses all other thinking processes, a direct-feed if you will. Only once I've synthesized the GNAFL thought can I pay attention to something else. I'm not sure what this says about me either but I don't care. I've never been happier.  |

LOL !!!!! Would you really want to?? Lanad and spring2009, so big philosophical questions ....... let me see, don't want my entire life back no, but where does this all end up? That I'd like to know ...... Does it have to end up somewhere??? I think about that too tantum ..... but then I shake myself and think, its ok to live in the present and just have a great time and just feel good/positive/silly/energized about something that doesn't have to be deep... I have alot of responsibilities in real life and people who depend on me to be "it", so Adam and Adamtopia has been a sweet escape and fun place to just be...and I'm thankful for it. wow, tmi ! |

Oh dear God I thought this said " he makes me recognize all my sexual fluids" and I was all  thinking , man she sounds like some of the people who post over at my site! LMAOOO. Ugh what a long week. TGIF. I need a nap. Well, I thought "fluids" would be TMI (and anyway THAT goes without saying around here And I would be PROUD to post at your HIlarious site! ;D) But RL leaves too little time for fun these days! Speaking of which, gotta run! ETA: just wanted to add, both the Bob G speech about R&R (agree) and the old RS review of Queen (Puh-leaaaaase) are very enlightening! Thx!
