BrianMayCom @brianmaycom Queen News June 2012: bit.ly/LYL7YH Q+AL + REHEARSAL PHOTO brianmay.com/queen/queennews/queennewsjun12c.html#48Adam Lambert is now in the UK rehearsing for his upcoming gigs with Queen. He and Queen have been tight-lipped about the rehearsals so far, but Adam's publicist did tweet a photo on Wednesday. Adam will be back in the states next week, as he is performing a concert in San Francisco for Alice Radio's Summerthing 2012 event. Fortunately for him, there are plenty of Whole Foods Markets in San Francisco! [Adam is into whole foods.]

Some stations actually discard texts requests because they are hard to tabulate. The best thing is to look at your local station's website and listen to the drive-time and request programs. The stations make it clear how they want to get requests. My local KISS station wants online requests from their website, so that is what I do. Real listeners of stations know how to request. If you are not a "real" listener, then do a few minutes of research to figure it out. There are no standard methods of requesting. ETA: Do not text a request to a station that has not asked for it. Do not do anything that looks like a fan campaign. It helps to request different ways on different days. Call one day, text another, send a MB Request for once a week, etc. why people are requesting songs from stations they don't listen to? is this a rhetorical question? I am going brain dead obviously - how do you vote on the Huff Post vote? it IS #2 now btw...

Do not do anything that looks like a fan campaign. It helps to request different ways on different days. Call one day, text another, send a MB Request for once a week, etc. why people are requesting songs from stations they don't listen to? Because stations are largely promoting their online formats and their I heart radio apps, etc. They are creating new ways for you to listen to stations out of your area. The Sacramento station tweeting about how great NCOE was a few weeks go linked me to their app and said, "You can listen here!!" when I thanked them. I do occasionally use the app but it's a pain to pull up when driving. Of course, you can't listen to ALL stations, but you can pick and choose if listening via an app or online more and more all the time. If I'm listening online to one station and KTU texts that they are going to play Adam, I can switch over. I also listen to the station I am voting on during takeover games. I do only request to stations that encourage out-of-area requests (KTU) and my local stations though. Even though Q encourages out-of-area, I do feel a little weird putting my city on mediabase forms.

Watched Graham Norton with Cheryl Cole and Katy Perry on the chair, and Cheryl will perform later on. So I remembered Shoshanna said that Adam will chat with Graham and then performing... it will be this following week. I CANNOT WAIT I'm not certain that it will be on next week. We are now 8 days behind the UK in viewing so we may not see Adam until June 30. Last night's episode was with KP and it was filmed the week following the Jubilee. Ohh I just realized that they tape this session on the week of Jubilee, so if it was taped on the 7th and just aired last night, then we will Adam on June 30th. :(

I just voted and Adam is ranked #7 now. How could he have slipped 2 spots in 5 minutes? And is this another one of those polls that seems silly but could have legs in the media? He's #2 now.

I am going brain dead obviously - how do you vote on the Huff Post vote? it IS #2 now btw... no it wasn't a rhetorical question. I don't understand why people would request a song from a station they don't listen to...how would they know if it got played if they aren't even listening?
