Ryan Seacrest Show Adam was recorded about 10 days ago -- this show is prerecorded.

The “campy” picture on the CD turned some of the general public off without even listening to the music. Some people are too uptight to see past the picture to listen to the music/voice. Even My Husband said that He liked the picture on the Acoustic EP and it was really good not like the FYE album cover.
I think some of the uptight straight men/general public/DJ’s are uncomfortable with some of the lyrics in the songs. That’s what I find that is “campy” about For Your Entertainment. (eyeliner, baby eyes, glitter, lace.)
Adam has said the most important thing that He wants is longevity in the music business. It really will not matter if we all think He is an unbelievable singer and talent if He can’t get keep selling records and making money for the record labels. He will just have Us dedicated fans following Him. He wants/needs main stream success. He needs 3-5 songs on the record that will make the program directors and DJ’s happy.
My question is can Adam drop some of the “campy” lyrics in the music but still keep being theatrical? That is what I enjoy. I love that he is theatrcal, I would never want Him to sit on a stool and sing twelve songs like WWFM all night.
One of the things that I first liked about Adam was his Voice and that he was theatrical. I have always loved singers that are threatrical and have vocial skills like Meatloaf and Freddie Mercury.

Lindy -- that is beautiful -- and camp to the max. I am adding to page 1.
I don't worry about Adam not being theatrical -- it seems to be an innate part of who he is. He likes to put on a show.
Everything theatrical is not Campy. On the GNT --- I think that Strut and Fever were Campy and Theatrical, but Sleepwalker was Theatrical.
Look at Adam's Idol performances -- Feeling Good was campy, but nothing else really was. And can you get more theatrical than Adam's original Mad World -- and neither Idol version was campy at all.
What I am curious about is when "theatrical" because a bad thing. Even after Adam's audition, Simon said something like, "I think you are --- "theatrical" and therefore not current." That was a WTF?!?!? moment for me, since so many huge pop stars are completely theatrical -- Madonna, Gaga, MJ, Britney, etc. And Idol was supposed to be search for the next pop star, not the next rock band or singer-songwriter.

The next tour ---- my dream ---- Adam Lambert Lust & Leather Tour --- a bit more rock, and more pyro -- and "Jim Morrison" leather pants.

Adam mentioned here about AI Motown theme week. www.realitytvcalendar.com/shows/ai-10/songs/jb03-p1.htmlAmerican Idol: Motown Theme Week – What Songs Should the Top 11 Sing? Commentary By RTVC Senior Staff Writer Joseph Braverman March 20, 2011 .... I think the best example of what you could do for a Motown song is when Adam Lambert stripped down “Tracks of your Tears,” which is an up-tempo song with sad lyrics, and really surprise America. ....
