So I just read on the main thread that NCOE is up to 710 spins in the UK---which sounds great But, is there anyone who can explain what this means? Like, how many spins does the #20 or #10 song have? And, are these all still Capital spins only? bullsfan, here are two links www.ukairplaychart.com/ and www.ukairplaychart.co.uk/uk/rolling_week . The first one, as far as I understood, is updated once a week and of a more "official" character, the second allows to watch changes in spins, impact and placement happening to a song every day. The #10 song has 3,216 plays and 37.48m impacts The #20 song has 1,933 plays and 24,66m impacts NCOE is #73 and currently has 481 plays and 9.94m impacts I do not know where the 710 number is coming from but i wsh it was true) The 710 spins is up to today comparemyradio.com/tracks/Adam_Lambert/Never_Close_Our_Eyes

Thank you very much, uggybear. Useful and positive info. I see that the majority of the spins is coming from Capital FM. Others are not on board yet.

Thanks for the UK info everyone!
Regarding the album numbers, I just hope Adam can hang around at 5K for awhile. Carrie's numbers are interesting---she will reach platinum, but it is going to take her a lot longer this time; KA's sales have completely sunk.

Well, I'm happy to see that BBC Radio 2 played NCOE yesterday. That is a good sign. :D

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I have a radio question. I live in Colorado, and I've been requesting on 100.3 to no avail, even though they played NCOE when it first impacted (and it's an HAC station, I believe). However, there is still 95.7 the Party, and 96.1 KissFM. Am I allowed to request at these stations, even though they haven't played? Any links?

Calls are the best, if you are not too shy. Here is the number for The Party: 303-631-2957 Here is the number and mediabase form for KISS. On the form, you will have to write it in on the bottom. Do it once a day! 877-498-9600 www.kissfmcolorado.com/pages/interactive9at9.html

Comparison of FYE vs TSP weekly sales numbers, updated with this week's TSP numbers (week 6). Obviously it's a different time of year and Adam is 3 years removed from Idol vs just coming off Idol, but still worth looking at. The weekly numbers may add up to slightly lower figures than the cumulative totals reported by Idol Chatter due to rounding.
FYE sales numbers (from Idol Chatter): Week 1: 11/29/09 - FYE #3 Overall 198,000 Sales Week 2: 12/6/09 - FYE 51,000 Sales (-74%) Week 3: 12/13/09 - FYE 46,000 Sales (-9%) Week 4: 12/20/09 - FYE 59,000 Sales (+26%) Week 5: 12/27/09 - FYE 62,000 Sales (+5%) Week 6: 1/3/10 - FYE 17,000 Sales (-72%) BB Top 200 -64% post-holidays Week 7: 1/10/10 - FYE 11,000 Sales (-35%) Week 8: 1/17/10 - FYE 12,000 Sales (+9%) Week 9: 1/24/10 - FYE 20,000 Sales (+60%) Oprah appearance Week 10: 1/31/10 - FYE 15,000 Sales (-22%) Total sales through Week 6: 434,000 Total sales through Week 10: 492,000
Trespassing sales numbers (from Idol Chatter): Week 1: 5/20/12 - TSP #1 Overall 77,000 Sales Week 2: 5/27/12 - TSP 22,000 Sales (-71%) Week 3: 6/3/12 - TSP 12,000 Sales (-47%) Week 4: 6/10/12 - TSP 8,000 Sales (-30%) Week 5: 6/17/12 - TSP 7,000 Sales (-4%) Week 6: 6/24/12 - TSP 5,000 Sales (-38%) Week 7: 7/1/12 Week 8: 7/8/12 Week 9: 7/15/12 Week 10: 7/22/12 Total sales through Week 6: 131,000 (30.2% of FYE total sales through week 6)
According to Wikipedia, FYE had sold 838,000 in the US as of May 2012, so through Week 6 it had logged 51.8% of its total sales to date. Applying the same math to TSP would result in an eventual total of around 253,000.
