ETA - I wish people stopped talking that some Queen fans didn't like it. Who the fuck cares, really... Exactly. There is no pleasing all of the people all of the time. You could hand out thousand-dollar bills to a thousand people and 50 of them would bitch. /shrug Besides, if they're complaining about pitch problems...Bitch, please. I happen to own a two-CD remastered set of Queen singing live and it's just pitchier than hell, and that would be the late great Freddie singing. When most band are singing live you're trading energy and presence for perfection. Adam comes closer to perfection than 99.9% of singers. Period.

One of the Queen comments that was posted yesterday called out Keep Yourself Alive and Don't Stop Me Now as songs that were not played when Paul Rodgers was singing for them. Can one of your who know more about music theory/vocal techniques explain why those songs in particular would be hard to sing? I was listening again and I could not tell what made them different from other songs. Paul Rodgers is a baritone, while he can hit notes in the A4 area like a lot of trained baritones, I guess those songs have melodies that are too regularly in that area. It's easy to just hold a note in that area but singing up to it, or lines in that area, are much harder

4MB??? NOOOO .. if you want to download the 2hrs concert the size is 500MB. I did it last night.. I was like, "ohhh.. what the heck" and just did it.. LOL I have never downloaded video, just mp3's. what do I need to play it back? And can I burn it to a DVD? You can play it back using Windows Media Player or RealPlayer or other video player. Yes you can burn it to a DVD, I haven't done one, but you can google it I guess.

I guess I did not think beyond just pure how many notes there were (not that I am that good at going from hearing a note to knowing what note it is on paper).

I had never heard Dragon Attack before, so checked it out on YouTube - and Adam's version (IMHO) is way better than Freddie's. Adam's voice is perfectly suited to the song, and his crisp delivery really made it shine.
Whoever posted yesterday that Dragon Attack could have come straight off Trespassing was spot on. I can easily envision Adam segueing from Dragon Attack to Shady...or vice versa.
Have lost count of the times I've listened to Who Wants to Live Forever. Even after repeated listenings, the chills haven't subsided yet.
Yesterday must have been 24 hours long, but I don't remember a thing about it except watching Adam's brilliant, gorgeous fierceness.

Adam was born for Queen music. From the bits I heard yesterday, He was phenomenal! OMG
My heart broke listening to the live forever song...It sounds like a version of the musical West SIde Story - Somewhere. just gorgeous
I'm on vacation. Headed down the shore yesterday, I did not know they had a 'hurricane'. In PA, we had powerful thunderstorms and rain and didn't think twice about the weather since it was now sunny.
A trip that normally takes 1 1/2 - 2 hrs, took me 5 hrs. Businesses lost electricity so you couldn't get gas or eat. Thank heavens I had water in the car BUT I had a back up spare. I HAD TRESSPASSING blaring for 5 hrs.! so it relieved the pain of sitting in snail pace traffic.
Ok Hitting the boardwalk last night (for those who don't know, it a mile long walkway make of planks, hence "Boardwalk" name. Lots of stores
My son and I stop in a sports store to check out the merchandise. As he is looking, music BLARING. What do I hear????
NCOE BLASTING. It sounded really good. "F" radio. I have no idea why it not being spun by stations. It was good and a few were bobbing their heads. I asked the cashier what station they had on - it was Sirius 2
OK heading out to get burnt oops I mean tan. and will listening tonight again to the Queen music. You know I've heard about QUeen, knew a few song, but last night blew me away. AND Brian really can play a mean guitar! damn. This is what musicianship is about.
As Mys*&@^# said. He is a FUCKING ROCKSTAR!!!

A small confession. When I caught the first glimpse of Adam in the Blonde's spikey jacket, my very first thought was Oh No ... he's not wearing the codpiece is he? ??? : ;D All feelings were exponentially positive after that, with every other thought being ... Holy Mother of God, I am going to get to see this show live.
