Reading through everyone's posts in my iPad while simultaneously downloading an mp3 of the entire show from terra zephead's website. It's taking forever, but I know it wil be worth it. I've listened a few times today and love so many of the songs. I feel like last night was so amazing for so many reasons. 100,000 people in that crowd last night, right? Thay all seemed to be having a great time, dancing, singing, swaying. It was exquisite rock n roll. So good. Somebody to love, dragon attack, another one bites the dust, crazy little thing, I want it all....oh, I loved it all! The super fast we will rock you. I'm left quite blown away and I want more. 250,000 according to Ukrainian press.

I'm just home from work and am starting from the back forward again and see the discussion of Pop vs Rock...
IMO Adam's timing is genius ! He wrote and produced an album of music he has said many times is the type he loves. He has done endless pr , answered every question...some so incredibly personal the mind boggles and has stated Trespassing is his baby.
If it doesn't make it, he accepts the blame. (executive producer)..if it does (#1 !!!!) he has proven he can make it on his own.
Now along comes Queen with a great proposition and from the interviews we all know whatever was agreed upon comes with a "clause" that Adam first and foremost promotes his own music, his"baby" Trespassing. Roger even mentioned that in one of his interviews.
The news that Queen and Adam are going to headline Sonisphere brings out all kinds of press and when it gets cancelled the shit eaters (haters) blame the lack of sales on Adam.
But dear Glamberts, they did not reckon with us...the thousands of us, who had already bought tickets and made major travel plans and so.....here it comes...another event was booked, and another, and another and another and another and another ...whew !
Amidst all the hoopla, the brilliant AFL modestly and humbly stayed cool...his album is a success.
He can't be accused of riding the Queen coattails. The Queen PTB, Roger and Brian, are telling everyone how incredible his voice is, how kind, how fun !
Adam is now in the enviable position of promoting his own pop music in intimate settings and small concerts and having a series of dates with the iconic Queen to show the world his unbelievable talent.
He gets to sing whatever he fucking wants to...no genre necessary.
Genius, absolute genius!

I knew the man was special the moment he opened his mouth with "mama, just killed in a man...." in that audition. And now, full circle. ETA: sagittarius, love your post. I agree. His timing is pretty damn near perfect, but he is kind of like that with everything

On AOBTD I do love the run near the end (that he and Freddie both do) where he is walking to the front of the stage and he is just so full of swagger, that it's awesome. That whole song is awesome. I also love the byplay of Adam and Brian during STL -- that's hilarious! Okay, now that I have spent the day between cycling TdF coverage) and the concert, I am worn out! I wonder if I have any clean clothes for tomorrow...huh. mm.. i don't hear any Freddie on Another One Bites the Dust. The duet with Freddie only on Bohemian Rhapsody and Love of My Live with Brian.

My @#$$% ATT internet service is not working. Hold time to get a tech on the phone is over 15 minutes... probably much over. So, for now, I am using my mifi connection to get online. It has limited speed and caps on GB, so I cannot freely watch the concert. I NEEEEEEEEED to listen to WWTLF a bunch more times, tho'. So, why am I posting? I hope one of you has a link to an audio file of just that song. I think I can download such a file without using up too much of my plan. PLEEEEZ! I need my fix. Thanks in advance. cassie, Adam sang a lot of lower notes in last night concert, song such Crazy Little Thing Called Love. Were they still on his lower range that we know (D3??) or he actually sang lower than that. I wish I could answer your question, but, using mifi until my internet connection is fixed, I can't go back and listen to the concert again. Too slow. I wasn't paying a lot of attention to the notes when I first viewed the concert. Yes, he sang more in his lower register, but that I assume that was because he sang in the original keys Freddie did, and Freddie generally sang in a range that is slightly lower than Adam. My recollection, or what I hear in my mind when I think of Crazy Little Thing Called Love is the key of D, with the D3 as the bottom note. I remember hearing Adam and thinking he was singing the D3. But, I'll have to get back to you after they fix my internet to confirm.
