According to @leytonb's twitter (guy from ChartShowTV): 7080 sold of NCOE and 3,869 of Trespassing sold so far in mid-week charts. Anyone know when final numbers are in? Wed. Tomorrow or next week? How can final numbers be after only 4 days?

Wed. Tomorrow or next week? How can final numbers be after only 4 days? The Midweek Chart comes out on Wed. each week. Per Wiki: (see below) "The chart week runs from 00:01 Sunday to midnight Saturday, with most UK digital singles being released on Sundays (followed by CD releases on Monday).
The Top 40 chart is first released on Sunday afternoons by BBC Radio 1 before it is posted on the OCC's (Official Charts Company)website, with the top 75 being printed in Music Week magazine the following Monday and the top 200 appearing in the independent newsletter UKChartsPlus on Wednesdays. It is also published online. Radio 1 broadcasts a Top 40 countdown on Sundays from 16:00 to 19:00."

That ^^^ makes it sound like it is the final of the previous week. This is exactly the same way the BIllboard charts come out. The Wed, chart is the previous week. The numbers for the current week are nothing more than predicions. Still confused. :-/

Then, Radio 1 releases the final results on Sunday afternoon. (In other words, we'll be able to find out where Adam is at on the final official chart this Sunday.) The US Billboard publishes the official final results for the previous week on Friday, although, we get the Daily Double Chart on Wed.

For a little comparison, last week's UK chart numbers:
Chris Brown debuted at #1 with 29,980K in sales. Runner- up was Maroon 5 with 18K. At least that's how I read it. The following statement is from Billboard, which was a little confusing.
"With sales reported by the Official Charts Company at 20 units short of 30,000, Brown's new set unseated last week's new entry at No. 1, Linkin Park's "Living Things," which moved down to No. 3 with Maroon 5's "Overexposed" steady in the runner-up spot on 18,000 sales. '

Adam 's numbers look really good to me. He is hardly known in the UK and is just getting started. His singles are not all over American radio and therefore the rest of the world. It's a bit of a leap to compare Newbie Adam's numbers to been popular for years and highest chart toppers in the U.S.like Carrie,Maroon 5 and Chris Brown. If the comparison is to show how well a new star is doing.. then i'm good with that.
