The Queen/Lambert team will play Moscow on Tuesday and follow that up with three sold-out shows at the HMV Hammersmith Apollo in London (July 11, 12 and 14). Coming in way late (was at my 9yr. old's baseball tournament all day Saturday, and then storms knocked out our internet all of Sunday), but Adam was completely amazing in Kiev! And the crowd was incredible. Such an awesome opportunity. But, I have to ask, what is the deal with RCA tweeting NOTHING about this concert (or any Adam/Queen stuff). I guess if it isn't directly related to Trespassing they aren't interested? Just seems so short-sighted, but what do I know.

Agree with this, holst!The difference between the first half and 2nd half is the songs. Queen has built this setlist to build and build to monumental performances in the 2nd half for both the band and Adam! I dare anyone to watch I Want It All or Who Wants to Live Forever, in the first half of the show, and tell me either was a subdued performance! :-/
MTE myspenser! The entire show was brilliant but WWTLF was a highlight for me. Maybe THE highlight. And nerves? I saw a few tweets about that and I didn't see it AT ALL. He was confident, fierce & on fire from the start!ETA: The sound mix was off a bit for the first couple of songs. Nothing to do with Adam. |

Somebody to love was a Queen song I skip probably because there were so many covers of it and I just didn't get it until Adam performed it yesterday. I was so blown away by the colors he infused into this song. Adam was portraying the lyrics of this song as he sang and now I understood . I now remember Brian May made a comment that Adam is a great interpreter of songs. "Somebody to Love" (written by Freddie) is a soul-searching piece that questions God's role in a life without love en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Somebody_to_Love_(Queen_song). Now it is one of Top 3 which also includes Dragon Attack and Under Pressure from Kiev's performance. I have a top 10 ;D but this may change depending on the videos we'll get from the rest of Queenbert events. |
