Stub Hub doesn't count. They are second hand sales. A good way to see how many are left is to try to get around 4 tickets together in a good section. If it is easy, then there are probably a lot of tickets left. If they are in a bad area, try 3. If that doesn't work, try 2. Usually, even for big names, you can always get 1 ticket, so using 1 as a criteria while looking is not a good way.

He was #1 and now he's gone - does that mean he's next?

no tomatoes from me... I posted very similar "thoughts" yesterday - i just can't imagine how Adam will go back to playing with Tommy... Perhaps just as you go back to your significant other after going to a Brad Pitt movie or celebrity of your choice, Adam will go back to his band with fond memories of his Zeus in a thong experience with Queen and get on with his real life with gratitude for the experience. Do you realize how unfair it is to compare 99.9% of the musicians in the world with Brian May and Roger Taylor? Adam lives in the real world and I'm sure will adjust to returning to it quickly. It may be a little more difficult for some of his unrealistic fans...... unless they want him to give up HIS goals and tour the world as guest singer with classic rock 'n roll musicians. OMGOMGOMG...KEYBOARD... YOU'RE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!STAY AND PLAY AND TELL US EVERYTHING!!!

ITA. Only two Queen songs have ever hit no. 1 on the U.S. Billboard charts, Another One Bites the Dust and Crazy Little Thing Called Love. (But they've had many more number ones in the U.K. and other countries.)
Also, Led Zeppelin (one of my other all-time favorite bands) NEVER had a number one song in the U.S. or the U.K., and only six of their songs broke the U.S. top 40 - but Stairway to Heaven is reputedly the most requested song of all time.
So radio spins aren't required for long-term success, ladies and gentlemen! But that was then and this is now and I think that now radio spins are essential for building a top-tier career. Adam's Grammy nomination would not have come about without the radio success of WWFM. That's just the way it is now, IMO. Very true. When I was a kid, I remember hearing Queen on the radio ALL the time. But when they were at the height of their success, in the 70's and 80's, radio was much different. They had rock stations who would play album cuts, not just singles. I remember when I was 10 years old hearing Bohemian Rhapsody on the radio but my mom had to buy the whole "Night at the Opera" album cause it wasn't released as a single. She went to the record store to buy the 45 but it wasn't available, only the album. But radio played it all the time. Journey songs on the radio all the time back then too on album rock stations. Led Zeppelin, heard them all the time on the radio back then too. Radio was a whole different animal back then. They may not have been on the "pop" stations, but there were plenty of "rock" stations around back then to give them airplay.
