In The Lap Of The Gods
Love SCREAMING Roger! :D Yeah... wish he also did it in the live version.
What key was his first "Ah" ah ah ah ah ?
I also prefer FM's voice in the live version.
Wow, can't get over Roger's background scream! Just awesome!

Just had a look on YouTube and I think I found Roger's highest note that talon mentioned earlier! From 3:58, Roger repeats the line "higher" in the backing vox and keeps taking it higher and higher, all the way to E6 at 4:18

Indeed! I do believe that might be the highest. We'll kind of find out together. I am going to be including collaborations as they happen... You know gabby - you mentioned the live aspect of it and I almost have regret...I almost feel I should have done live along with the studio...Just started in a year and put the studio album out then the live aspects of that year etc....but I kind of feel it's too late now...Unless I decide at the end of this album and go back to catch up before I move ahead again...hmmm... Decisions...

Decisions... If it will take too much of your time ... (since this album is halfway done) why not just move ahead and update later if you have the time? You've already done so much for every single track you presented and so very much appreciated.

Well it was going to be something I was going to do anyways...I don't want to interrupt the flow...BUT it would make for an even more comprehensive way if I do the rest going forward. I can just start with the year and do all the studio output (albums, solo albums, collaborations, etc. and then showcase the live concert information after the studio stuff and then move on to the next year. I like it more and more...It's not about taking up too much time as I am loving doing this...but if I can make it even better! *shrug* it might be worth a little break in the flow....And now would be the time to do it as because as we move forward it will be more interesting to see how the band did fit in their albums, their solo releases, and collaborations AND their live performances...gives a much better overall presentation.
I have to admit I'm liking it more and more :D I would still wait til the end of the Sheer Heart Attack album. It shouldn't take me too long to catch up. I'd finish this album. Then I would do a Pre-Queen post of sorts just to gloss over stuff...
Then 1973's live performances in one post and there's really only ONE additional post I'd give about specific moments.
Then a 1974 post...and maybe 2-3 separate special moments posts. So really it'd be about half an album's worth of interruption before I moved forward!
If you, ng, or whomever else is reading think it might be beneficial? :D Either way I'm in it for the long haul so it'll work for me. I'm leaning towards going ahead and doing it since if I go much further, I'd have to wait to do it at the end...

Wow! I thought the way you presented each track is already comprehensive :D (for me anyway who is starting from scratch getting to know Queen)... so whatever additions/update you need to do will certainly be beneficial to all of us who are not familiar with Queen especially with their earlier works.
