^ I think the Amazon ones are because if you pre-ordered his album today (or yesterday) were the days the additional tracks were "purchased" and sent out to pre-orders.

I LOVE surprises like this. Jon Tiven and Stephen Kalinich are a duo who Brian has worked with before and they have a new album coming out on July 3rd. They have premiered a song first called Rude Awakenings which features Brian! link

Q3 is hoping for 250K total sales, cumulative! Not 250 first week! Also, I do not remember Adam ever saying Brian had "ideas" for Lucy. Just that Brian played the guitar riff. Nile played guitar on Shady. He was not a writer. Same situation. Brian is a performer on the track and it says, "featuring Brian May" on the track listing. Brian having ideas

I've been very sporadic here lately I know, so this was probably posted but... No Adam but tangentially related - Official footage from QAL Sydney...perhaps this comes as a teaser for an upcoming Blu-Ray? I love the Roger "meh that was okay" review of Rufus Nice to se ya talon! That really is a great video, GD I miss the tour!!!!!! Have you checked out Adam's new stuff?? I of course have heard Ghost Town and I heard the second track released - I have not gotten the chance to hear the two newer "leaks" Adam gave. Hoping to grab some time after Memorial Day! In case you missed my thoughts - GT has grown on me...not a big fan of the disco cowboy moments but it is a solid track. Underground was a nice RnB track - definitely a better feel than the stuff on Trespassing.

Real hard hitting, number driven empirical data for you here. On the ride over to my daughters concert we were in my wife's car. I don't listen to radio but she listens to our top 40 station. As we parked I heard a familiar acoustic opening and I was slightly surprised. I said oh Ghost Town....my wife then said yeah it's been on the radio a lot recently. So there you go. Upstate NY numbers are "a lot"...

Another song which is far better than almost anything on Trespassing. It's a solid track and I think might have worked better as a single than GT imo. Personally I thought it could have used a more climactic moment - perhaps a bridge at the end but another solid track. Looks well to be a quality album

I wanted to pop on to say that I have to admit, GT is growing on me a bit. Still wish the song was more like the verses and less about the disco cowboy moments BUT I find myself playing it a bit more. I definitely think the sound/production is miles ahead of Trespassing....I have a feeling I'll still like FYE more given the nature of the nature of material....but it's definitely enjoyable But then it would just be a different song! And I have discovered........ (because I live in a world where I thought 'deep house' trend referred to the current high-profile epdemic of London basement renovations.) that your 'disco cowboy' moments are very Radio 1 here - and those are the bits that will get him played on Radio 1, if there is any hope at all. Nationalglampoon shamed me into listening to Radio 1 for the first time in 20 years.....only for Adam! But now I know why this song stands a chance - love it or hate it! (also meant for pattihum I believe) - Yes you are both correct - the disco cowboy is definitely better for radio play so I think absolutely it's good for that - Just my personal preferences...I'm a grumpy old rocker who likes my classic rock and music was much better in my day when I walked to school in a blizzard uphill both ways.... BUT in an interesting twist - I played it for my daughter who is a freshman in high school and she had similar thoughts to me! Her musical tastes are VERY varied - She loves classic stuff like Queen/Beatles. She loves emo rock like My Chemical Romance/Pierce The Veil, but she loves some pop stuff too like One Direction/Taylor Swift type stuff. But she listened and she said "I like it. I love the verses but I think the chorus bits or whatever are unneccessary" She loved QAL btw and loved seeing them live (although she actually hates the WATC run more than I do and that's saying something! LOL. Love opinionated teens)
